I was very pleased to recieve this overnight (Prime!) and so well boxed. Thick outer box over the package box. I ordered this "rush" when my budget measuring wheel arived from Amazon yesterday didn't "measure up": Supposed to have a 40 inch handle but actually had a mini 22 inch. This three-piece assembly is quite robust and the full length handle just folds into place with a solid click. The larger 12.5 inch wheel gives plenty of levarage to drive the gear-driven distance counter, and I was especially pleased to see the white fractional spinner go to 11, before the black distance counter rolled up one foot. Yes, actual feet and inches! I ordered this to measure out the border cable path for my new Smonet robo-mower (Amazon, again) to verify the total length is within limits. With this wheel, measuring this is quite literaly "a walk in the park". I'm so pleased to haave this wonderfully easy-to-use tool in my arsenal. I'm 70, so anything that makes my life easier is a big win, and this distance measuring wheel is huge win, in my opinion. Once again, this is so much better that the cheaper units or the units with smaller 4 or 6 inch wheels. I especially love the 3-piece folding desiogn ... nothing complicated or awkward about it and it works so easily. The kick-stand is also a nice feature, so you don't have to lay the tool down and bend over to pick it up to continue measuring.

I purchased this item as usual thru Amazon because of the price. Locally this item was being sold around $60 plus dollars. Once I received it I wanted to measure the distance from one side to the other on my farm to verify measurements in my recent survey. Lo and behold as I had found out before that the distance was shorter than what the survey showed. Now I. Have another issue but, the item revealed that my property was almost 30’ different than the numbers on the survey. The item was ideal in measuring the distance and was able to transverse many item in my path. It was easy to set up and operate and easy to repack it into the handy carrying case. Which I thought was a great addition to this item. As with any measuring devise I purchase, I test to see if the item is accurate in measuring item and distance before use it to verify a true distance or length. I measured an 8’ 2x4 that I had cut to exactly 8’. It was perfect. Then I measured the distance of 1/4 mile and it was perfect as well. Now I when to measure the distances in the survey and found different measures than what was legally on the survey. Something I need to bring to the surveyor’s attention. Anyhow, this item was a great purchase and without a doubt, a truly great item to measure distance with. It was very easy to use and replace it in the carrying case that was a bonus. I will use it for many more of the projects I do if measuring distance is involved. Great item.Thanks

4 stars because it does the job but does not excel in anything. Nice case and folding... but the distance accuracy is off by about more than 2%, ok for most uses. Number is not easy to read when using it, it should be bigger, so unless you have 20/20 or better vision, you might have to squint or look closer to see while using. Build is ok, otherwise no huge complaints.

My wife and I want to have a privacy fence installed on our corner property. We were unsure of the exact amount of fencing we would require. So we purchased this measuring wheel to verify for ourselves the distance required. Knowing the distance ahead of time would ensure the fence contractors don't rip us off.The wheel is a breeze to use and is a no-brainer to purchase should you require longer distance measuring for basically any purpose. Great product!

This is a measuring wheel which is supposed to be sturdy. I have owned many wheels over many years and not once did one break within one month of use. I usually forget them at the site and that’s why I have to get new one's

Walking with this measuring device is easy & measuring accurately. No more bending over trying to get a tape to stay in place for accurate distance especially when alone.

Haven't used it much but it seems to be a good sturdy product.
