I bought this injector to add flavor to meat that I smoke. It is very sturdy, well built, and works flawlessly. I used it on Thanksgiving to inject creole butter into my turkey before I smoked it, and I'm very happy with how it performed. No leaks, easy to inject, and easy to clean with the included brushes.

Eat Juicy Meat! is printed on the case and a good motto for this complete set.The semi-hard case is perfect for storing all the items and keeping your kitchen organized and clean.Dedicated slots for the plunger and each of the 3 nozzles. There is also space for the cleaners, gaskets, and manual. A few more items can be added to the mesh pocket inside.The double zipper opens wide for table top use.The syringe is a good size holding 2 fluid ounces visible through clear glass in a stainless steel body.There a graduations marked on the glass cylinder in 1/4 oz increments which would have been better printed in white over commonly dark marinades.Top screws off for cleaning and/or changing the plunger seal.Inserting and changing needles is as easy on screwing them on and off.A silicone o-ring is included on each needle and extras are supplied.Short thin needle for chicken, larger single needle for turkey, and a multi-hole needle for roasts.There are 2 cleaning brushes for the needles and 1 large cleaning brush for the syringe.The plunger is tight and the seal is good.It draws the liquid in with some pressure. It may loosen and be easier as it wears in.Stating the obvious: this is for injecting room-temperature or cooler marinades into raw meat, this is not a baster for use during cooking.Overall a very nice set.
