This review is for MECCANIXITY Acrylic Pipe Rigid Round Plastic Clear Tube 15mm ID 21mm OD.The tubes have a peel-off film fir protection while marking and cutting. The two tubes were plastic-wrapped together and covered with bubble wrap, arrived in perfect condition. They were easy to cut to length with a just a plain hacksaw, and then a flat file to square up slightly wobbly manual hacksaw work. Not too brittle, no chipping. This was for decorative use so I polished the cut edges to a clear shine. I discovered that clumsily dermel-tool buffing can heat and soften the acrylic, clouding the surface with embedded buffing compound. Because of this, patient hand buffing worked faster.

I purchased this to replace a glass hydrometer container tube that I broke while checking the specific gravity of some wine I was making. I capped one end with a 58142 1 inch Nylon hole plug from the Hillman Group which was a perfect fit. I used plastic glue to seal it for no leaks. It's perfect and the acrylic is much more durable than glass.

All good with this itemAlthough I found something for users to be aware of with fittings. Companies like barrow advertise their 14mm od parts, but they also have a little warning to only use barrow tubes...that caught my curiosity. I just measured a barrow tube against this genuine 14mm part. Barrow tubes are not 14mm but 14.2mm. which could lead to pipes sliding out unless it's really torqued down (we shall see, as I bought into barrows sneakery). I'd avoid buying any fixtures that have this brand loyalty warning, they're going to try and force you into paying way over the fair price for parts that function as described.Will repeat..these tubes are good and genuine 14mm, no issues bending or anything else. But barrow 🤨 won't be buying their parts again (also cos the paint flakes and the thread workmanship is crusty). Also noticed these tubes heat and bend a lot quicker than barrow tubes, so I'm guessing they use some dodgy acrylic too. Happy cooling people âœŒï¸ keep it real.

The size is perfect for my needs as a feeding tube in an aquarium but one tube arrived broken. There are two in a box wrapped together and the box is in a bubble envelope. Needs more padding for shipping.

I try to put together a water fountain every year but couldn't find the right tubing lately to connect to the pump but this is perfect. I'll cut this to the right length and still have plenty left for the next year, if needed.

Item looks good initially. I was required to cut the length to desired size and surprised to find that it was very fragile. Material shattered on the first attempt. Eventually settled on using a diamond cutter on my dremel tool and sanding the rough edges very carefully.Overall, it can be managed and manipulated, but expect an unusual amount of waste.

Make sure to not use these in an environment with moving pieces, or that can apply stress to the pipe. I've had several of these shatter on me so far which sucks because they are not cheap

Love the durability love the crystal clear will buy again . Only down fall is I need more rhe 12 inches per piece of one solid piece
