This product works but the components don’t t work with Gerbert carriage the push button doesn’t line up . Doesn’t auto flush.

I travelled around Asia with work and lived in Tokyo for a while. I got so used to these smart toilets that it was a no brainer to install one in the house at home.This is the second house I've now put one into.This is a great product for the price, my last one was much more expensive and to be honest a lot less subtle.This one is lower profile, looks more like a normal toilet seat, with the bulk at the back of the seat, right in front of the cistern, so it hides it better.The heated seat options are just right and the controls are simple but effective.As with all of these, the blower is pointless, it would take a week to dry you but that's to be expected across all of these that I've ever used.All in all for £155 I think it's been a great buy.Installation is pretty simple with the plumbing and electrical work being the headacheDidn't use the connector that came with the unit to connect the water, instead I picked up a 3 quid Y piece from a hardware store which was much easier to get the seat water supply hooked into the cistern supply.Electrics are the hard bit. I put a fused switch outside the bathroom and cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling to feed the writing along between the switch and unit, which mean I just needed one hole in the tiles to bring the power cable into the bathroom.The cable that comes with this isn't that long so you will need some power cable and a sealed, waterproofed box to connect power to the unit. This will be the same with all these seats so not unique to this one.All in all it's been a positive experience with the speed of delivery, price and quality.I'll maybe update after a while to report on how it holds up. One of my previous smart seats, the plastic got quite tatty after a while, no signs of this so far with this unit but time will tell.
