The pinpointer works as expected. Very accurate and saves time locating objects. I bought this because it was rechargeable and glad I did. The detector holder mount has its pros and cons. I have enough on my belt so having the pinpointer on the metal detector is handy. The holder holds the pinpointer firmly so it’s not going to fall out. That’s both good and bad. It’s great when transporting you always know that it’s with the detector. But while detecting it’s hard to pull it out and you have to push hard to put it back. So it’s not going to fall out and get lost. This is not a game breaker I just carry it in my hand while detecting so I’m ready to pinpoint a target. I highly recommend this and it doesn’t break the bank when starting out metal detecting.

Product works great, delivery was prompt. my wife and I have used this many times so far and it is amazing how well it will detect an object. Even tiny pieces of wire no bigger than a pencil lead can be detected if 6 inches deep. Would definitely recommend this pin pointer if you like metal detecting like us.

I just received this pin point metal detector and it has been great light weight and easy to use. I'm a newbie with this hobby but I really like it.

I'm a beginner in the metal detection hobby and am enjoying this pinpointer. It's affordable and works well for me. I really like that it is rechargeable by USB. Good entry level pinpointer.
