The reviews warned me... but i hoped it would work. It didn't. The clock arrived in a weak, thin and undersized cardboard box with weak styrofoam that was pushed through by the piston, like a cookie cutter. The hands of the clock were bent. We straightened them and the clock did work after inserting a battery. HOWEVER, THE GEARS DO NOT WORK. The gears only work when plugged into a USB port. We've tried 3 ports which we know work yet nothing at all happens. We love the concept so much we are going to try to fix it ourselves. If we can't find someone to replace the gear motor, we will return it.

The packing that the clock came in is not too great. I had to straighten out the hands as they were bent. Also he hands should be white as the are hard to see against the black color of the clock. I painted the hands white. Now it is ease to read the time when the clock works. Seems like everyday it looses about an hour or just stops. I even replaced the batteries .

Bought this for my son to give his friend as a present. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be anything spectacular. When it came in....It was way way cooler than we thought. It was a huge hit. Everything worked as expected and was well packed. This was about a month ago....It's still going strong today from what I here.

I like the clock a lot. However, the clock face and the Hour/Minute hands are both black, making it very difficult to see the time. I painted the hands white, which makes a much more readable clock face.

Just for the clock I guess because both items the gears don't work just the clocks. That's right they come from China.

Clock kind of works. The chain drive motor for rotation of the gear skips non stop plus the fact they shipped me a product that is not even close to the picture in listing!!DO NOT BUY!!!!!

My grandson loved it!!!! But he struggled a bit with assembling it.
