4 plastic insterts are included in the package. You can use the new ones plastic insert or use your old ones. Sometimes the old plastic inserts are already lodged inside your bed frame leg securely, and you don't need to replace them. If you want to use the new insterts, just to be sure you have pull out the old one.

I purchased this kit to replace a roller on my bedframe that cracked after 15 years or so of use and abuse. At first looks, it actually works much more high-quality than what I originally had when I purchased the frame and the wheels seem to move fairly easy. Hopefully they will be up for the test of time and they will hold up. One big thing I will give these. I appreciate that they are metal and a solid caster. What I received when I first purchased the frame was a cheap plastic roller. These are a huge upgrade from what I can tell. you can rest assured that it will get your bed frame back in shape.

We lost the wheels to a bed frame during a move. These were affordable replacements. The optional plastic pin expanders are a little small for our bed frame.

I replaced only one wheel caster on my Queen bedframe because for whatever reason, that particular one had broken. This set seemed the appropriate size/shape to match my old ones (I did not replace them all because there are 6 on a Queen frame and I didn't want to buy 2 packages of 4.) It was super easy to insert once I removed the broken one and it seems to be holding up over time (it's been 5 weeks now.)

The bed frame wheels were 5/8 inches wide and were damaging the floor. I ordered the 4 pack 2 inch wide locking wheels, (nylon/plastic sleeve included in the sealed bag). I used slip joint pliers and a small hammer placed at the top of the wheels to tap the old wheels out of the sleeve. I pushed the new wheel into the original sleeve and it was a snug fit, replaced the remaining wheels. Very pleased with these wheels, they easily swivel and roll the bed can now be more easily moved for bedding change with no damage to the floor.
