I've never have to leave a review for a product I bought off of Amazon but I feel I have to now. This tap to me seems made out of substandard material. I was very careful with it because I knew it was a smaller tap but the least a little bit of pressure I put on it and it just snapped in half. I use the appropriate drill for the tap and yet as I was using it it was starting to twist and flex and no matter how much I backed off and started it again to try and tap the hole ,eventually it snapped in half. I would not recommend this product even though it is cheaper than others.

I purchased two of these taps. Both failed (broke) on the second tap. Not abused. Not hot. Poor quality.

Used it to fix threads on a Honda snowblower oil filler.

This thing worked great for the first 5 holes. When I tapped the 6th hole, on the way out, it just snapped off. So if you only need to do 5 holes, I highly recommend this tap. If you need to tap more than 5 holes, you might consider passing on this one.

This is just a cheap, import (China) cutting tap. I needed a Tread Forming tap which is entirely different. I contacted the seller to see if they could resolve is, but was told "ok, return it". Not a very helpful response and delayed the project I had ordered it for. Definitely choose another seller.

Broke in thin gauge aluminum with a tap guide, very disappointed in the steel quality used.
