My college professor and I were blown away at how clearly this microscope magnified some fabric samples I used for my textiles assignment. I was called up to speak with her after turning in my microscope test and she asked me what microscope I used and asked for the link. When I asked why, she said my pictures were "too perfect"! I was stunned and satisfied at the same time. I can see the shape and texture of textile fibers with this, and it came with everything I needed to complete my task. I was able to fit a large smartphone into the phone stand to easily capture images of what I was looking at. It even came with some sample slides that I used to test this piece of equipment out. I didn't know honeybee wings had hairs! The more you know! If you need a great microscope at a good price for school...this is the one! Look no further!

This Microscope is a fantastic tool for anyone passionate about exploring the microscopic world. This microscope offers an impressive range of magnification options from 40X to 2000X, allowing for detailed observations of various specimens, from basic slides to more intricate biological samples. This microscope comes with an included set of slides, so you can start exploring right out of the box. Its phone adapter is a standout feature, enabling me to capture and share all my discoveries with ease. The extended and widened handles are thoughtfully designed, making the microscope easy to move and adjust, even during long observation sessions. Additionally, the 360° rotatable head is a brilliant addition. It allows multiple users to view the specimen from different angles without needing to move the device. Achieving a precise focus is straightforward, thanks to the two focusing knobs. These fine and coarse knobs provide ultimate control, ensuring clear and sharp vision at every magnification level. Whether you're zooming in at the highest magnification or making subtle adjustments at lower levels, the focusing system is reliable and smooth. This microscope is a well-built and user-friendly. Its combination of usability and advanced optics makes it an ideal choice for any microscopic examination needs.

This microscope barely has any reviews (atleast at the time I'm writing this review) but it actually rocks. There are multiple extra useful accessories it came with such as a phone holder, carrying bag, microscope slides, and a lot more. The highest magnification is 2000x which is great because thats more than enough to see tiny things like bacteria and blood cells.Make sure you read the microscope's instruction thoroughly before using it. It was hard for me to find out why it wasn't working well until I read the instructions. There is 10 prepared microscope slides with different things on it which was pretty fun to look at. (My favorite one was the hair fly leg)By the way, this microscope was a lot bigger than I thought. For such a small price, this gives you a lot. Really good value! Definetly recommended for anybody who likes science.I used this microscope to see whats inside my turtle's dirty tank water and found a weird bug shaped thing jumping around and it freaked me out!

This literally gives you as good of image as any scope I have ever used even in a laboratory environment. I'm not saying it's super commercial quality, but it is very close. It's close enough to be used in any environment including school and home and light commercial use. I'm amazed that how many things it came with. I even took a couple of pictures with it. One of them is of ocean water and you can clearly see the plankton in my picture. That's at 1,200X. Also they provide slides and I am providing you a picture of that from my phone. Look at that!

This was a gift for our daughter for Christmas, she loved it after user error and figuring out the light the adults had more fun looking then she did.

This device seems to land right where it needs to be as a low cost tool, not a high cost toy.The general operation is thus: There is a three mode switch for lighting; off, beneath, and stage. The stage light works well except in the highest magnification where the small focal length causes the 40× optic to block the stage light, which cannot really be helped.Magnification is a multiplicative operation with 4× 10× and 40× at the stage, 10× and 25× eyepieces, and a 2× that the 10/25× combines with. This yields nominal magnifications of 40, 80, 100 two ways (4×25; 10×10), 200 two ways (4×2×25; 10×2×10), 250, 400, 500, 800, 1000, and 2000. I estimated the fields of view as starting from a diameter of 3½mm (4×10), and in the cases of 100× and 200×, the 4× objective gives wider FOV for the same nominal magnification. There is a diaphragm adjustment beneath the stage, but I didn't notice a significant difference between setting it at 4 or at 9, and mostly relied on the lamp brightness control.Which is one of the two MVP's in this device. The lamp is on a dial allowing control of brightness, and the focus knob is geared for coarse and then fight adjustment. Toy microscopes are a fright to deal with focus at high magnification due to the plastic flexing. This device is a tool, not a toy, and has the components you need to work without such headaches. As is expected, the scope comes with a typical slides and accessories kit, and does use quality material. I've seen toys step down to plastic slides. And a plastic accessory is where this kit falters. It comes with a plastic smartphone mount for screen observation, recording, and photography. And because it's flexible plastic, it's almost useless. It attaches to a smartphone well enough, but to then hang it from the eyepiece causes the weight of the phone to flex the plastic, making alignment a game of trial and error that you simply can't win. (I accidentally did it perfectly the first time, and then later tried twelve times to hit the perfect spot again and never could.) Furthermore, I couldn't get consistent focus and field of view on my smartphone. I felt like if I put the mount completely over the eyepiece it wasn't positioned right. If I pulled it halfway off it could rest on a tiny seam in the plastic that happened to be the right relief, but then I worried that it could fall from the microscope if bumped accidentally. For this reason, I don't have any reasonable sample photos to share.I think that this is a fine entry-level scope for a student or hobbyist who has gotten used to not driving the subject into the lenses and is ready for a tool without excessive investment. However, the usefulness of the device overall makes the smartphone adapter "feature" something that undermines the otherwise good sense of quality.
