Product I received looks new. Took a minute for the A/C compressor to kick on but when it did it was super quiet. Probably the most quite air conditioner that I've ever owned. Cools down a bedroom and my living room in 10 minutes. Very energy efficient only raised my electricity bill about 5$ a month and run it at least 10 hours a day. For 229.00 this unit is well worth the price. Works with Alexa and comes with a remote control about the size of a regular TV remote control. Plus the U shape still let's you use the window to see out of. And comes with an air conditioner window bracket that works well very sturdy, and window foam and more sturdy foam thus keeping warm air outside where it should be. Only downside it is a bit heavy for it's size other than that no complaints from me.

Quietest window A/C and with miserly energy consumption. I have central air but I keep a window unit installed in the living roof for the inevitable power outages which are quite common in SE Texas. During outages, I use small generator and solar powerstation so low energy use is most important. Not the easiest unit to install but i got it done in a day and taking it slow and all well sealed and secure now.This sold as a reconditioned unit but looks new and no signs of prior use. Arrived beautifully packed. Was missing the main support bolts and cotter pins but I was able to substitute some spare bolts/nuts I had salvaged from something else.In use :Quiet cooling and dehumidifierApp is usefulHorizontal air direction fins not effective, just blows mostly forwardNo heat function (cycle reverse), would be nice but I know I'm expecting too muchVerdict: A winner at 2/3 the usual price. Happy so far, a few years, storms ahead, I might update this review

It was easy to install. I thought I ordered a unit with heat, too. It has only AC but it is working well for AC

This window unit is so quiet I forget I have it on from the outside of the house it doesn't even sound like it's on literally no noise The mounting bracket is very strong was able to install it in the window very quickly functionality is great design is very nice remote control is very handy the size was perfect for our bedroom

Love love love the U shape design! It makes my window much less drafty which means I can keep my room a more consistent temperature. The Unit is quiet and cools fast. The WiFi feature is great too so I can turn it on from my phone and have a cool room waiting for me when I get home from work

The air conditioner is good, very silent. But the reconditioned came without 2 parts.
