Have been using this product since first purchased in the automotive world, it does most of the diagnostic you need and it’s very accurate, good price for someone who’s just starting and don’t want to spend a lot of money, strongly recommend this product.

This works great for easy battery draw diagnostics. I tested it against two other battery draw methods and it was just as accurate as the other two methods. Great for a small multimeter as well.

This is my first Midtronics measuring tool and I love it! It feels very solid and fits perfectly in my hands. The generous display has easy to read numbers. It comes with a carry case, batteries and probes. The built in clamp is one of the reasons I chose this model. I have a multimeter and clamp in one! In addition to the amp clamp, it can do most of the measuring I need in a very compact and easy to handle instrument.I compared readings with my Fluke 87 and the result are in sync. The sticker on the device says it is made in Taiwan and the listing description says it is assembled in the US. My only nit pick is the On/Off switch on the side is an old school slider. I prefer a push button on the front or an additional position on the selector dial to power the unit.This is definitely a keeper and a must for the electrical tool belt. I'm going to review Midtronics offerings to see what other goodies I can try out.

I have a Fluke 117 and I got this to supplement that. I actually prefer this for many tasks, because it is more compact. Comes with a very nice carrying case, and a set of batteries. Readings are almost exactly the same as with the Fluke, so I suspect they are accurate. This is built sturdy and should last. Also from Taiwan instead of mainland China, which I appreciate.
