Unlike other music stand lights I've tried, this one is bright enough to hide the shadows created by overhead lights. It also has a well-designed shade to keep the light on the page and out of the eyes of the audience. Recharging is accomplished using whatever charger/cable you use for the typical (non-Apple) cell phone. The adjusting arm is a dream, a smooth version of a gooseneck without the positioning limitations most gooseneck fixtures have. I can position the light to exactly illuminate the page of music I'm playing. The mounting clip fits nicely to my (fold-up) music stand, allowing my music folder to sit as it would if the light was not present. I can even carry it in the case for my fold-up stand (with the T-shaped head poking out at the end of the zipper closure). My only complaint is that for my rather weak eyesight I could use an even brighter light. That being said, this one is brighter than any other I've tried and has multiple dimming settings to enable use in a dark room. The battery life is excellent, lasting through several hours of rehearsal or home practice, even on the brightest setting.

Portable and ideal for art display. The only portion which needs recharging is the clip which makes recharge much easier in the evening-no need to drag the entire light around. Lightweight and clips on to the main display case (or panel).

The problem with this light is that the neck is too flexible It won't stay in the position you put it in without a lot of fussing. The battery life is moderate - I have to charge it after 4 hours of performing. The brightness of the light is fine but It doesn't like to grab onto the back of a music stand even though it looks like it should. I am looking elsewhere for a sturdy, reliable, easy to use light for my music stand. - Addendum - after 2 months of use the flexible neck will no longer hold the light in the position. I contacted the vendor who would NOT stand behind the product even though I think it is a manufacturer's design defect. DO NOT BUY, and do not buy from WeCell vendors. They will not help with problems.

Fantastic little light, but I wish it had a better clip that was more versatile. I’m pretty sure it was biult for music stands, but it’s what came up for searching PEDALBOARD lights and I kinda have to jimmy-rig it on my board.

The light is absolutely perfect for what I’m using it for, but it just occasionally goes iff, despite having a full charge. It has even happened when it is plugged in.This is the second one of these I have had; the first one was a gift and it had similar issues until it just quit working all together. Thinking it was just an anomaly, I ordered this one as a replacement.I use this light to further illuminate the needlework I am doing. I clamp it to the frame and it is perfect for this use. But it’s only perfect when it works.I am deeply disappointed, but I can’t justify spending the money to buy another one and have it happen again.
