This collar is awesome. I initially bought it because I loved the concept of leather mixed with a metal chain. It's a very classy and stylish look. Plus it's an extremely well built product. I bought this in May of 2019 and it still looks almost new. We've been on roadtrips, countless hikes, camping trips, mountain bike rides and kayak adventures (yeah I trained my dog to sit on the kayak and it's as awesome as it sounds haha.)These days I don't really clip a leash to it all too often. Maybe if I'm just taking the dog out late at night or early before work just for a quick walk. But on nearly every walk I use a harness. Whether it be a normal walking harness, a life jacket harness or a backpacking harness with pockets to carry items. Most of the time it just lives on his neck and if I need to take control of him by hand for whatever reason, just grab the collar.It seriously looks almost brand new. The leather has worn in very nicely and for $20 I'm shocked at how well it still functions and looks. The only thing is a couple months ago, the leather strap that holds the excess strap length in place broke off. It still doesn't flop around much without it so I haven't even replaced it yet.Was looking around at other dog products and came across this collar. Which reminded me to check just how long ago I bought it. Outside of that leather strap breaking, I haven't even really thought about this collar in ages. Which given it's purpose is a very very good thing. It does it's job with no fuss. My dog also loves it. If I take it off he always stares at it and wants to smell it. Almost like he's sad and wants his chain back lol.Really this is one of the best buys you could ever make. It's really hard to find anything of quality for $20 anymore and this item nails it. Kudos Might Paw. I may have to check into other products in your lineup.

I was incredibly surprised that an Amazon purchase would be this damn good. The leather is soft and it’s well crafted. Been using it about 6-8 months and it’s developed a nice patina, but the stainless steel is still in perfect condition. My dog loves the looser fit that a martingale collar allows as well. But yeah, generally damn good. Also it has a lifetime warranty through their website!

We have a shepherd mix that broke a plastic snap collar and this collar was the solution. Very sturdy leather and metal chain collar- no more broken plastic parts. Great product!

The collar is good quality and works well. Unfortunately I had to replace it, as it keeps turning my dogs neck grey. Not sure if its the chain or the leather. I wasn't expecting the chain to, as its supposed to be stainless.

Has a 17†neck and I thought the Medium would work but could barely get the collar onOtherwise, well made. Good design. Seems well constructed.

I read a lot of reviews about it breaking and I haven’t had that problem It works amazingly the leather materials very good. I’ve had it for two months now and it’s holding up amazingly.

This dog is a slim 45 lbs. I measured his neck at 18" and chose Medium based on the listing information. But when I got the collar, it was way too small. Couldn't even latch the belt buckle closure. Sent it back. Ordered a Large, which fits, but I had to cut about an inch off the end of the leather because it hung down past the beginning of the Martingale chain and got in the way of being able to quickly clip on his leash. Also, the leather is too thick to use the included velcro band to tuck the end up. If I hadn't already bought a nice leather leash to match this collar, which I can't return, I would definitely have returned this one too, and bought a nylon Martingale collar like my other dog (110 lbs) has. That collar is soft, flexible, and infinitely adjustable. The leather on this one is nice, but once his fur settles into place, no one can see it anyway. Yes, it is quality made, and it looks great -- but in practical use, it doesn't stand up to the nylon kind. I really should have sent this one back before cutting it.: (

I was recommended this collar, as my then pup just kept pulling It seems to have done the trick. I've moved onto a harness. I do think this collar is better for bigger dogs, I have a cockapoo, and although it looks OK I think it would suit a bigger dog better.
