it's a tubeless tire valve. it holds air without leaking. make sure your rim is in good shape to hold a tubeless valve and tire before mounting. dirt, rust, pitting, and cracked paint anywhere on the rim can cause leaks that are not the valve's fault. Install with the proper tool to avoid damage.

These Milton Valve Stems are not made in the U.S. as is stated under Country of Origin on the Product Page. The Package clearly states "Made in P.R.C."

Larger size for truck wheels. Works fine. Buy the screw on install tool.

The stem shown on Amazon shows a fat high upper rubber section that goes thru rim, Stem on left. The stem sent is fat, but rubber section thru rim is shorter picture on right.
