Regardless of the brand grinders take a lot of battery. This grinder is way good, for small/medium jobs. If you are doing larg jobs a 110 volt cable grinder would be better. I use this every day at work with a 5Ah battery, for grinding off dicor off of fixtures on RV roofs. I can do about 10 or so fixtures before my battery needs changed.I use the 110 corded grinder for grinding down screws on the new plywood I just replaced and anything else that pokes up, on the roofs of The RV. Before putting new rubber down.

I have a regular grinder but I wanted no cord in the way when I attached my Binford 5000 chainsaw carving blade onto this sleek device. It handles the chainsaw blade like a champ. Remember, no bearing down into the wood. You will likely regret it. glide smoothly over the surface and it WILL remove wood. Shield gives good protection from the aggressive blade, which will eat up batteries, by the way, so keep one on the charger. I have no complaints, honest!

I think this angle grinder is ok. For the price...maybe a little high compared to other offerings by Milwaukee, but ok, I already had the batteries and chargers. Also the unit came in a completely plain unmarked box….which I know is not how Milwaukee sells it, so…questions there! The guard is REALLY annoying and it is an issue to put it in the place where you want it to be and have it STAY THERE while you do the work. I get the keying, but it is totally overkill and really annoying! Otherwise, I guess I got what I paid for. Next time, a FUEL version with the brake. Or maybe DeWalt...or Metabo.

You can’t go wrong with Milwaukee tools!! I believe Milwaukee has the best tools hands down! I purchased a 4 1/2 grinder and love it. I used it to cut vinyl siding all summer and held up nicely! I will definitely buy again along with other Milwaukee battery operated tools!! I couldn’t be happier!!!
