I was initially hesitant to spend the money on a case for something that was perfectly protected by the cardboard box it came in. The refractometer fits firmly in the case and can stay there during use so there's no unnecessary handling of the unit. The lid opens the long way, exposing the measuring equipment and, when closed, forms a handle for easy carrying. And, once your brewing friends know you have a digital refractometer, you'll be carrying the thing everywhere to show them how it works.

I bought this case for my Milwaukee salinity tester. It fits perfect but the salinity tester comes with some droppers and they don't fit in the case and get smashed if forced in. Otherwise it protects the tester and is easy to get into. I don't even have to remove the tester to use it

I had been having a difficult time regulating my salinity in sal reef tank with traditional items so I seen this so worth the cost quick easy to read. My tank doing so much better!!! Great item would suggest to and salt water hobbiest

This is the perfect case to protect your refractometer. Don't pay any attention to the crybabies that gave 1 star because it doesn't hold the calibrating fluids. Those don't need protection, set them on the shelf with the rest of your calibrating fluids and tools.
