- Cleaning and Maintenance： Avoid water and chemical solvents from flowing into the donut machine to damage the electric heating tube.
- Prevent Overheating：Make sure the operating temperature of the electric heating tube is within the rated range to avoid overheating damage.
- Reasonable Use：Avoid frequent switching of electric heating tubes to reduce large changes in temperature.

HOW TO USE
- Beat a few eggs first and stir with a whisk until the egg liquid becomes foamy.
- Add white sugar, self-raising wheat flour, a little cooking oil, and stir evenly.
- Preheat for 2-3 minutes and brush cooking oil into the donut machine. (Preheating is to make the donuts brown and look more delicious!)
- Pour the mixed cake batter into the donut machine.
- Cover and heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Delicious donuts are freshly baked!

This donut maker works pretty well. It’s easy to use and clean. The donuts turn out really delicious and it’s a really fun activity to do with kids. Heating seems sufficient and it can make a decent amount of donuts with its size.

This is a fun little toy for making some treats occasionally. The mini's are more like micro's, think the little sleeves of tiny donuts in the convenience store. If you find a good recipe (and there are many online) this can make some decent cake donuts. The heat is a little uneven, so it's a bit of a guess to not overbake some donuts while not leaving some doughy. You could always watch carefully and pull them out individually as they bake, but that means opening and closing the lid which makes it even harder to predict the cooking and would end up with unevenness even within each donut. So just take them all out at the same time and hope for the best.So overall this works, but takes a little more minding and work than I would have expected for a simple function like a waffle maker. For the price this is reasonable if you're willing to take the time to work with it. For us it is occasionally worth it and we will break it out for family gatherings, but not as a snack maker for the kids to use regularly.

I really was excited to try this donut maker. It seemed like a great idea with an easy way to bake up some mini-donuts for my kids, but the design and application are just a miss for me.The exterior of the unit gets VERY hot, which is not a deal breaker for me since I have older kids and they don't want to help, they just sit by and wait for the results. The molds are small, which is what I wanted, but they are next to impossible to fill properly. I ended up using a pastry bag and cut the tip off to be able to pipe the batter into the molds without making a huge mess.There is also no timer, no alarms to indicate when the batter is cooked properly. It took many rounds of errors before I landed on the perfect mix of batter, heat and duration.The surface is non-stick but I did spray the molds with a bit of cooking spray. It is easy-ish to clean, much like a waffle iron. You wait until it is cooled down and then use a damp cloth to wipe every surface. I do like the spatula and silicone brush. I've been able to use those much more than I've used this donut maker.All in all, this is ok, but the seller should include easy to follow instructions and a recipe booklet would be VERY helpful.

Who doesn't like doughnuts? Easy to clean easy to make. No problems with it hinges are strong nothing sticks. Though I'd buy or use separate utensils since the ones included feel flimsy.

Our family loves LOVES doughnuts and we couldn’t pass up a chance to make our own! What I like about this: makes tiny little one bite doughnuts that are just the right size if you want small snack or dessert or even a little goodie with coffee! We glazed some and frosted others, they all turned out good we just looked up online recipes from scratch but you could probably use a mix if you can find one? The little trays are super easy to fill and it cooks pretty quickly, only a few minutes for each batch. The machine heats up really hot so be careful if you touch the top while it’s on, and my advice is to not overfill the doughnut trays or it will squish out and make a baked on mess on the machine. I wish the unit came apart (like the doughnut trays came out to wash) and I wish it was able to come to temperature a little more quickly but overall this is a fun little gadget to have for making fun food and memories with your family. Bonus, it comes with a little set of silicone kitchen untensils - a whisk, a spatula scraper and a brush tool.

Thought I would try this out as my kids love donuts!I will say that the size of these are great for little bite size snacks!I wish the maker came with a piping bag to make it easier to use as some people will not have a way to fill them.The donuts do cook darker on the bottom than the top, but overall relatively even cooking.Relatively easy to use and clean.Would recommend if you and your kids like miniature sweets.They cook pretty fast as well.

Pretty fun donut maker to use with the kids. It can make a lot of donuts at once and is a lot better than using oil in my opinion. You can play around with different types of batters making cake style or other styles of donuts.

Got this and made some donuts the next morning. Overall, it works well, and operates pretty quickly. The device feels sturdy and the non-stick cooking surfaces work really well. The reason for knocking it down from 5 to 4 stars is because the heating is pretty inconsistent across the cooking surface, so you end up with the mini-donuts browning at different rates. It's certainly not a reason not to get it, but a little inconvenient.

The donut maker in question is remarkably user-friendly and fundamentally comparable to the aforementioned items, save for its donut-shaped design. We have successfully engaged the children in donut preparation, achieving satisfactory results. However, I eagerly anticipate experimenting with keto donuts, utilizing almond and coconut flour. The batter preparation is straightforward, enabling the production of delectable sugar free treats.

I will note first that the instruction manual is poor. It's like some generalized sheet that covers all these kind of devices like sandwich and grill and donut maker all in one, but has no specifics of any value.That said, this thing is so easy to use, you just wipe each ring with oil, then fill them with batter, plug it in and wait for the light to turn green. They're done.I really like what I made, but I had to invent my own batter, because nothing in the box gave anything like a recipe. (sugar/flour/egg/milk/oil is all you really need plus some flavour if you want)No stick at all, just pick them up off the griddle once they're cool enough to touch.Comes with a cloth for cleaning, a silicone oil brush and a scoop to prevent you from damaging the no stick with other spoons etc.So simple, so yummy, I didn't except so easy or good.

I have mixed feelings on this mini donut maker. It is a basic donut maker that doesn't have heat settings, timers, automatic shut off or any functions that would assist in ensuring you get the best results while using the machine. All of those omissions wouldn't be such an issue if it provided user instructions with a selection of basic starter recipes that have already been tested on the machine.Since the donut maker didn't come with any of these instructions or best practices, I went online in search of recipes to test out. I heated up the donut maker and sprayed it with a non stick spray. I settled on a simple chocolate chip cake like donut recipe, made the batter (which is a thicker batter) added it the machine, I overfilled the first batch so make sure to no overfill, less is more. The red light shows that the machine is ready and then the red/green light at the same time shows the donuts are done. I found with this particular batter that it was undercooked and still a bit doughy so I left them in for a couple of more minutes, they ended up a bit overcooked and crunchy and delicious, they were perfect for dipping in coffee.I find that the exterior of the machine gets too hot, it is a must that this machine is set on a cutting board or pad to ensure the countertop doesn't burn. I also wouldn't recommend young children to use the machine, even supervised.I think with additional testing of different recipes and types of donuts I'll eventually master this machine. I'll update my rating at that time.This HT VIIT mini donut maker is pricey for the quality and functionality.

Nice non-stick mini donut maker makes 16 mini’s in just a few minutes! We found a batter recipe for plain batter and made donuts in just a few minutes. The maker comes with a cleaning cloth, a spatula and pastry/oil brush. It’s very simple to use, plug it in, wait for the light to turn green, fill with donut batter, close the lid, when the light turns green again your donuts are done. We made hot, fresh yummy donuts in just a few minutes. The machine is very basic, there are no heat settings, or beepers to tell you when your donuts are ready - so you need to open and check it. The instruction manual is very basic, this could be improved upon to include a basic recipe, an image of how to fill it properly (not overfill). The machine could also use a beeper or a count down timer for when the light turns green (about every 4 minutes). I don’t believe it needs a temperature control, I found it heats evenly and was quick to heat to its ready temperature. I have used it with a thicker batter and used a piping bag, I have also made a thinner batter and poured it in, both worked fine.

We had a chance to give this donut maker a first try and we were able to make some fairly tasty donuts with the included recipe with the device. Our only real complained about the device is that the heating isn’t quite even depending on where the donuts are placed, they will be cooked to various levels in order to get them all Nicely browned some of the ones in the hotter sections end up Overdone. I think that’s just a nature of size using electric heat.All in, we’re still quite happy with the device and will have lots of fun using this in the coming months making custom donuts with the family A+.
