Notice:

1. The sewing machine has been threaded and the fabric is for testing, NOT A USED PRODUCT.

2. When the positive and negative poles of the battery are connected incorrectly, the sewing machine can't be sewn, which will damage the machine.

3. Please turn the hand-wheel counterclockwise manually to ensure that there is no thread jamming and other problems before turning on the power.

4. The power supply and battery can't be used at the same time, which will cause damage to the machine;

5. This machine is not easy to sew fabrics that are too thin, too soft, and stretchy. It is recommended to add a sheet of paper under the fabric for better sewing results.

6. Before use, we recommend that you read our manual carefully and watch some videos.

I got this sewing machine for my tween daughter, and she absolutely loves it! She’s so excited to have her own machine, and it’s been a great way for her to learn.It’s compact and easy to use, making it a great choice for beginners. The double-speed setting is helpful, though it does take a little practice to get used to. Overall, a fun and functional sewing machine for young learners.

I sometimes join a quilting group and my regular machine is just too heavy to cart around. This one is just under 6lbs and has more stitches than needed for sewing squares. The machine comes with a package of nice accessories including scissors, tape measure, thread, needles, needle threader, bobbins, and a buttonhole presser foot, so it's ample and comes along with an instruction manual. It's also great for mending, hemming, and quick jobs. I'm very pleased with this machine.

Small in size (just 10.5-inch wide X 9.5-inch high) it's definitely not my grandmas sewing machine but, I actually like it because it is so small and, therefore it is very portable and easily stored in a drawer or cabinet.Not everyone wants, or even needs, a machine that will do multiple fancy stitches or, do embroidery. I personally just want a machine for basic mending (tired of stitching my hand) and perhaps a little light upholstery again. While all I need is basic straight stiches and, perhaps a stitch for keeping fabric from unraveling, this does have a total of 16 basic stitching patters including buttonhole and two needle sewing.The included instructions are very basic and, a beginner will need additional instruction to set up from an experienced person or perhaps You tube videos. If you are willing to spend the time, you should be able to do what you need to do with this sewing machine.Also included are the basic dual needle accessories, a buttonhole foot and 16 thread spools with 16 extra prewound bobbins for easy replacement of colorsThere is a switch on the front to select OFF, low and high speed. If you select LOW/HIGH the machine will run, and it must be cycled OFF to stop. To use the included SINGLE SPEED foot pedal, the switch must be selected to OFF and then you can depress the foot pedal to run the machine.Pros.-- A very good basic machine that is excellent for the new user or, for light duty sewing needs.-- Very quiet and will actually sew through 4 layers of denim so, this should work well for light duty upholstery.-- Includes everything you might need to get started.-- Includes a built-in small ""free ARM" which is good for cuffs and hemsNeutral-- Depending on one's needs, this is VERY small machine which for more advanced users might not fit their needs-- The pedal is very small and only has one speed.-- While including a variety of items to start out, it would be nice to include a box top to contain them-- Small size made it a bit difficult to thread the needle due to my big handsOverall, I am very impressed with this machine and, it does fit my personal needs.

We got this for our girl who is just learning to sew. It's a great little machine and is perfect for a beginner or for travel. A few notes:The foot pedal only functions when the power switch is in the off position, which is explained in the instructions but isn't intuitive if you didn't read them. We haven’t used the twin needle yet but, if you're familiar with sewing machines, it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out.It does all of the basic things just as well as my Singer. The presser feet ARE interchangeable with my Singer! So no special pieces to order online, I can just go to my local craft store. I don’t know that I could trust it with thicker fabrics like jeans or leather.It's going to make an amazing Christmas present! Depending on the hand-eye coordination of the child I would say someone as young as 4-5 could use it with help from an adult. The foot pedal is rather small for adult feet. The box it comes in is somewhat sturdy enough to store it in and has a handle on top, but I will be looking for a case for it.Overall we're very pleased and know the recipient will love it too!

This machine is definitely small, compact and lightweight weighing in at 5 lbs 8 ozs. It is the perfect machine for beginners or seasoned sewers alike, it will work equally as well for a quick mend job or an easy sewing project.The machine comes with a package of nice accessories including scissors, tape measure, spools of thread, needles, needle threader, pre-wound bobbins, extra thread spool pin and a buttonhole presser foot along with an instruction manual.The instructions are brief but easy to follow, that being said for someone with no familiarity of sewing machines would most likely recommend that they find some videos for beginners before starting to sew with this machine.The light for sewing is unexpectedly bright.The power seems to be adequate, but I would most certainly not elect to use the off/L/H lever for any projects. You can simply use the foot pedal to control your speed. The lever control on L or H takes off sewing and in order to stop it you have to take your eyes off what you are sewing as the machine keeps moving along, to find the lever and turn it off. I personally will NEVER use that lever, I prefer having better control of the machine using the foot pedal alone.You will want to use care with the very small, cheap feeling foot pedal as it doesn’t feel like it will last very long.For the cost of this machine, unless you are just particularly looking for a small lightweight machine, you can buy a name brand full size machine that has all the stitching options this has for just a few bucks more.All in all I would recommend this machine for small sewing jobs and light sewers!
