While setting this up for use, it was generating a mark in the wood away from the edge of the trimmer. The brass adjustment screw protrudes below the surface and mars the wood. Fortunately I had a washer of the correct size to add.Once setup, this works well. I was trimming wood veneer edgebanding and only had a few tearouts. These were places the grain shifted down and would have happened with most trimming tools (I hate veneer edgebanding). The blade can be dressed or resharpened.
