This small mortar & pestle is excellent for crushing pills without much strain of effort. Like the fact that a covering/coating on the pestle and inside bowl make it easier to apply pressure without slipping! Easy wash up that takes up little space as well.

Does what it needs to at a low cost. Use it for grinding up pills to give as a liquid, and works great for that purpose. Definitely small, but that's what I wanted. Easy to clean.

Exactly what I need to crush dog's supplements. Small, kinda cute and sturdy. I like that the sides keep the bits from flying out all over the place. Just nifty.

The only thing I use this for is to crush my dogs’ daily probiotic tablet to sprinkle over their food. For some reason, a portion of the tablet sticks to the bowl and pestle. Fortunately, it doesn’t matter with this over the counter medication but with anything else, I would have to get a more expensive mortar and pestle.

Exactly what I needed to crush small pills for small dogs! Easy to pour the powdered pills from the mortar to the dog bowl. Inconspicuous so I feel okay leaving it out on the counter since we use it daily.
