- Countdown Mode (2 hour/4 hour/6 hour/8 hour): After setting the countdown time, the device will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at the set countdown time. For example, set a 2-hour timer, the outdoor socket will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off automatically after 2 hours of opening.
- Dusk to Dawn Mode: The device will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off automatically at dawn.

I bought this timer plug when the other brand stop making theirs. I mainly use it as a timer for the fan at night. I love the remote so we don’t need to push the plug itself to set the time. I would use it for charging electronics at night too, 2 or 4 hours is great depending on what I’m charging. There is a slight delay when setting the timer and when it turn whatever I have plugged in turns on, maybe 20 sec or so. (At first I thought it was defective) I use the iPhone block, which is wider, so the 2 plugs are not far apart enough to have 2 things plugged in at once. Still super happy with this, great price, and would probably buy more.

This works great. I didn’t use the remote as it didn’t come with a battery. But I set the amount of time I wanted my Christmas lights to be on each night and it worked beautifully. It came on when the sun went down and turned off after the 4 hours I set it for.

Easy set up that only took less than a minute The remote control is small but easy to use. You do need a small screw driver to open the battery compartment.
