I got this to replaced the string that came with a cheap kite for my 3 year old. That string only lasted a couple of outings.This kite string is slightly heavier and feels very high quality. The string does not fray as easy as most cheap kite string. This should help in not get snagged on vegetation as easily. It has also been easier to get knots out.I am happy with this purchase.

I purchased three sets of these holders but not to fly kites. I doubt very much I would fly a good kite with these holders since the plastic is thin as is the cord. I'm a ham radio op and I use these holders to hold my thin-size antenna wire. If you fly kites, I would buy my kite stuff from a reputable on-line kite store.

Simple kite string/line winder. Allows you to comfortably hold a kite, with good distance. Not the strongest string, but good for smaller kites.

La cuerda me parece muy resistente, la prueba la tuve que se me enganchó la cometa en un árbol, tiré fuerte y conseguí rescatar la cometa... con otra cuerda se hubiese roto seguro.Luego me gusta mucho que tiene un pequeño mosquetón para engancharlo a la cometa y no tienes que estar con nudos ni nada.Muy contento la verdad
