This is just the mirror glass, so you will need the backing plate that holds the mirror to the motor actuator. Includes really good adhesive stickers.

Says it’s the right fit for a 2012 Passat but it’s not quite long enough. Leaves an odd looking gap on the right edge. Other than that it is a nice product.

I typed in my exact make and model for this mirror and it still didn’t fit right. However it has been working fine for me and was a good price. It saved me a trip to the dealer for a fraction of the cost so it still gets 4 stars. Looks pretty good in the pic I attached. But in reality it’s smaller than the frame of the mirror and has some open spots.

The original just fell off one day and tried this out. Fit perfectly. The only thing I did was add a few drops of silicon when I installed it...Only because some of the reviews I read said the adhesion wasn't the greatest. I cant see it coming off with the extra little silicone.

Good product- came as described. Pad could be better to hold the mirror in place- time will tell.
