Awesome tool was worried with the other reviews but functioned perfectly and is much much cheaper than a brand name alternative, and seems to be built pretty solid. I did make sure to take apart the fittings and wrap it with Teflon tape as they do leak.

The unit is actually very easy to use, you just need an air compressor. The kit comes with everything else you need. The problem I had is with the hand tightening nut you have to turn to expand the rubber seal into the neck of the expansion tank. The nut is extremely difficult to turn without the use of a set of wide mouth or expandable pliers. You have to use quite a bit of force to ensure the rubber seal is air tight within the expansion tank. I was concerned that after a few tightening cycles the threads would strip out so I decided to return the unit for a different model.

This kit has served me well in changing coolant in the Subaru boxer engines which are poor at having air trapped in the block.My first use with this kit proved that no air was trapped and wandered why I had not discovered it earlier. Only problem is that I thought it would sit on the shelf for a few years until another change is needed. But now I am lending it to friends who are thankful how it works.If you have the boxer engine and are needing a coolant change, buy this kit. You'll thank yourself if you do.

This thing worked perfect on both the low temp and high temp coolant circuits on my bmw x3 when I replaced the high temp circuit radiator. So far the universal set up hasn't made me wish I'd spent more on the big kit. Quality of the tool is decent and doesn't worry me. Good buy, bud

Fit my BMW X5 coolant reservoir tank perfectly and filled the cooling system quickly! Just make sure you have a big enough container of new coolant so that you don’t suck in air!
