Noticed that some reviews state that this gasket doesn’t fit its listed applications. I was just about to conclude the same for my ‘08 Quest, but decided to completely remove oil filter base so that I would have unencumbered access to the gasket slot on the rear of the filter base. Once I could install the gasket straight on, had no more problems with it seeming to be slightly oversized. It’s a snug fit but I have no more oil leaking from the filter base on my wife’s van. Nice to be able to park in the garage without needing a drip pan.

I got this Fel-Pro part number from some other sources that included pictures showing that the packaging stated it was for a 3.5L V6 Nissan motor, but was actually the correct part for the 5.6L V8s in first gen Titans and Armadas. Amazon also says this part should fit my vehicle, so that's good.Sure enough, I received exactly that! Perfect fit for my Armada, despite Fel-Pro's inaccurate package description. This gasket was almost twice as thick as the old, leaky one! But, it snapped right in to the oil cooler, didn't even have any trouble trying to keep it in place while putting the cooler back on!Unfortunate for everyone that ordered this seal for other Nissan engines that it doesn't fit...hopefully that issue has been resolved, but this is definitely the correct part for the big V8 engines. So. if you aren't sure- go cross-reference OEM part numbers!For some reason it took almost 2 weeks for it to ship, even though Amazon said it was in stock. It's not a Prime item, but I still had to wait almost 3 weeks for the seal to get here while all the little oil puddles everywhere kept growing! I'm not docking stars for shipment issues or delays, since this is an ITEM review, not a service or shipping review.

Fit 2007 Altima 3.5 (VQ35DE). No leaks after 500 miles. O-ring inner diameter looks slightly larger than OEM (with 100,000 miles on it), however seated properly in groove on back side of oil cooler (OEM o-ring is underneath in first photo and upper in second photo).

It did not fit for my Nissan Frontier. But the product was great otherwise. I returned it for the right one so it was a bit of a hassel to have to do it again right, but I don't blame Fel-Pro. I blame "AmazonConfirmedFit" for saying it was the correct fit when it is clearly not.

I wish I had taken pictures, but you'll just have to trust me. When I changed the gasket I put the new and old side by side and noticed the new one was thinner. Same diameter, just not as thick. But I chucked the old one away and put the new one in. I was concerned at the size difference, so I put fresh cardboard under the filter to check for leaks. The morning after looked good, but after a trip to work and back, the next day I had a small pool of oil. I though maybe I didn't torque the bolt down enough so I went through the process again. Nope, same thing next day. So I went to a local autoparts store and had them look up the part. They came up with the same part number from Fel-Pro but when they brought it out, I could immediately see the difference in thickness. It looked more like the original. Once more swap out and now, no leaks. Not sure if this was just a mis-packaged gasket or what, but just a little advice for anyone reading this. If it doesn't look exactly like the gasket you are replacing, then don't do it!

Good quality, good price. DOES NOT fit the 2006-2007 Subaru Tribeca B9 like they claim it does. To be fair, Advanced Auto also said it fit. Wrong, it doesn't

This was the correct size for my 2006 Nissan Armada with the 5.6 V8. Finally that leak is gone! I did not know there was a gasket, or an oil cooler in this vehicle...I thought it was the oil filter not being put on correctly. So glad to have the issue finally fixed, and for cheap. It was an easy fix, look it up on Youtube. I did not even have to drain the oil pan ( as my oil change was recent ). I just undid the oil filter, then removed the nut that holds the cooler to the motor with a 22mm deep socket, replaced the gasket and was done in about 5 minutes! Very easy to do.

I bought it to replace the oil cooler gasket of Nissan Quest 2007. The vehicle was old and there was a leak towards the gasket, but after replacement the leak stopped. No particular problems so far. I am very satisfied with the fast delivery.

en la Descripcion menciona que es para Forester XT 2015 al retirar el empaque usado no es del mismo diametro ni espesor que el que menciona la publicacion ,termine limpinado muy bien todo con gasolina , luego reinstale el empaque original y coloque un poco de silicon para empaque de cabeza de motor del color gris , se resolvio por el momento la fuga , si rompen la Bolsa de empaque de esta junta no les haran la devolucion.
