Just as good as the original that came with my mid-grade Ideal brand punch-down tool. Fits perfectly and is still sharp and doing the job after a year in service.2016 Update: I am still using this blade and it's fine, but it's starting to dull and get a little harder to work with. It is important to let readers know that I am an IT Manager, not a telephone installer, so this gets used on a few times a month at most. So after hundreds of punches, not thousands or tens of thousands, it is already wearing a little. I saw and examined nice shiny blade on the tool that was being used by a phone company employee and it was clearly better made than this, but I also saw that those blades sell for over $50, and I can't find them anymore. For the price, I think this is a good blade, but I don't think it's the best for pros who use one every day.

Never get a punch down tool and not add a 66 block blade.

Not much to say about a simple telecom tool....Bladed on one side to make wire cuts, dull on the other to secure or re-punch already terminated wires.Turns and locks into place via the groove at the tools center with the appropriate handle.Great price point as compared to hardware stores... a must for wiring techs..and at this price, you can't go wrong with getting one as a spare.

There were apparently some production problems with these at some point where they made the internal width to small to fit over a 66block connector. The one I received fit fine over a variety of brands and ages of blocks. It fit great into a trend-net punch-down. and functions fine. save your self from buying an expensive brand name and grab one of these.

Simple tool, excellent price. Does what it needs to. Had to buy this because the VZ tech stole mine. My original tip was $50, and this works just as well.

As all the other real one star reviews say, this DOES NOT FIT fit in most, possibly any punch down tools including my Klein tool. Just because I didn't want to go to the trouble of returning such an inexpensive part and didn't want to just throw it away I spent the time to carefully grind this thing down on my bench grinder until it fit so I can use it. Do not buy this. Spend a little more and buy genuine Klein punch down tips.

Fits my impact handle and works great on 66 block. I don't need it often, but when I do, it just works!

I didn't fit in the tool that I bought before. Had to file down the edges a bit, and then it fit. It did fit over the 66 block terminals I tried it on. Had issues using the cut side. Still not sure if the blade isn't sharp enough, or if the wires are the issue.

Purchased the product. It was stiff going into my punch down tool. It was impossible to remove without using pliers which ended up damaging my punch down. I now have to replace my punch down and get a different 66 tip. If you still want to purchase, I suggest you run it on a grinder or sander to loosen up the locking area before using it.
