The Butler Creek Element Scope Caps has taken lens protection to the next level. This modular-interchangeable scope cap can be used in any weather element the hunter is facing. Included are three lenses; black disk to minimize direct sunlight on the scope lens. A clear disk so you can see your reticle while caps are closed in rainy weather and a data disk which can provide caliber specific ballistic data. These scope caps are highly rugged and feature a ridged polymer protective lid, durable to withstands abuse and extreme heat and cold. A rubber-stretchable sleeve allows these caps to fit multiple diameters of scopes. The best attribute is the fully customizable, printable, data disk that provides wind and elevation information in either the eye or objective cap.

Well constructed, fits snug and it works. The price is high and the packaging could be overdone a bit. The old style of packaging would be sufficient and cheaper.

Decently made, however it can be rather loose if you have a 37mm housing. Biggest complaint is the clear locking disc isn't hollow, so you lose a lot of clarity when using the clear cap.

The lens cover does not stay down. It appears that the plastic latch either broke because of cold temperature or malformed. It does not hold the lens cover in place. It appears the plastic is soft & becomes brittle in cold weather. Save your money and invest in a more substantial lens cover.

Very well made high quality product. Unfortunately because the scope is mounted so low on my model 700 the bolt was impeded by the scope cap, so I had to return it.
