The Monstrum Tactical low profile riser mount is designed for use with red dots, scopes and optics, allowing for sight clearance of front sights. 0.59 inch high in length and with a Picatinny standard rail mount, it will accommodate Picatinny or Weaver standard red dots, scopes, and other optics.
It comes equipped with an easy to operate quick release mechanism that allows for fast and easy attachment and detachment, allowing you to quickly mount or remove your optic depending on need. The mounts attaches via a simple quick release lever rather than with sets screws and allen wrenches like traditional mounts. The bolt mechanism can be tightened further from the other side for an even tighter fit.
Crafted from aircraft grade aluminum, it is sturdy and lightweight.
Available in 1.5 inch (3 Picatinny slots) and 2.5 inch (5 Picatinny slots) versions.

The low price and easy to install and remove nature of this riser makes it a really solid choice in my opinion. The latch to tighten it is super great in comparison to a hex screw or the like, Being able to quickly take it off is nice if you want to swap between say a Foregrip and a Bipod on the fly. I used it for Airsoft but this definitely would hold up decently on a real gun. For the price, this isn't half bad. It's cheap, easy to use, and durable. Can't ask for much more than that.

This is a good solution, but I'm sure there are better ones...but you will pay more. Installation was easy. What you have to keep an eye on and what you might struggle with is finding the perfect tension for the clamp. For me, it was a very small window between too hard to close and didn't feel tight enough. Depending on how you use it (frequent on/off vs leaving it on), you might have to fine tune the tension.Overall, I would consider this a good solution, but no perfect.

I needed this to raise the red dot on my SBR. The size was perfect. The fit and finish were exactly as expected and it mounted with zero problems. Adjusting the quick release was very easy and didn't need any tools. I loosened the screw, put it on the rail and then closed the lock. Since it was very loose I could turn the screw with my finger until it was snug. Then I opened the latch and tightened it a half turn. Closing the latch was much stiffer and it locked just as it should. After shooting 100 rounds through the gun the mount didn't loosen or shift. The zero on the red dot didn't change between being mounted directly to the rail or on the riser. This is well worth the money and when I need another one I will specifically look for this brand.

The qd mount will attach but might be wobbly, and if you tighten it down firmly, then you won't be able to detach the mount. Probably fine for airsoft but anything that needs a firm attachment just won't work well.

Great riser and just what I needed. I was a little skeptical about if this was the size I needed and if the quick latch would work out and it was perfect. You adjust the other side of the latch with a screwdriver to get the tension that you want/need and then lock the latch. My optic and magpul sights cowitness perfectly now.
