The product was correct the order was correct and I got in a very timely manner. The Moon Gels work great. I tried another type because you got so many and it got good reviews. For me they didn't stay on and made a horrible noise when they started coming off. In studio w/headphones.

You can place these were you want and they’re not messy. Great drum head control. I think it’s not the best for the road since they could get lost and get dirty, If they do, clean them with water let them dry out on an napkin.

If you gig with kit mics, the gels are a quick and easy way to eliminate unwanted resonance sometimes, especially when the band’s doing sound checks before the gig. I prefer unobstructed tuned drums, however, if an occasional moon gel will help keep the sound engineer from pulling his hair out…ok.

My son has been playing drums and finally got his own set for Christmas. He immediately asked for these because they were sounding a little off. What a difference! He showed me the before and after and there is a marked difference in sound between having these on the drum heads and not having them on. If your drums are sounding a little tinny, these are definitely a must have!

The unexpected aspect of these [I'm a first-time user] was separating the *first* pad from the stack. In pulling it off the stack [gingerly], it seemed like it would tear apart. But they are equally very tough AND very stretchable. After pulling the first one off, the second was much more intuitive to remove from the stack. They are VERY easy to apply and reposition... and thus to easily dampen drum heads as desired.These gel pads are a winner!

These damper pads were effective in dampering the sound of my snare and floor tom.
