It works but I don’t think it will last if you pulled a two/up sled very far.

I just purchased these about three weeks ago, glad I did. These worked great, we were able to get my friends snowmobile unstuck and back to the trailer. Awesome!

It's always a good idea to have a recovery strap on your snowmobile, even if you don't break down at least you can get the person who does out without messing their sled up anymore than it already was.

Date of Order: 12/10/23Date Received: 12/15/23Date of Review: 12/17/23PURCHASE: We purchased these resting mats after reviewing several other mat types. They were not a 'test' for us to review.DELIVERY: By UPS. I watched the order and for 2 days, nothing happened. It just sat there by the vendor. Then, on the third day, a label was created. And the next day, it was shipped to UPS. UPS has been very good to us for almost all deliveries. This item was packaged with a couple of products. The box arrived in good shape. Thanks UPS.QUALITY: A typical braided strap that is 1" wide. The stitching is OK. The metal clasps are decent quality.INTENDED PURPOSE: We own snowmobiles...One NEVER knows when one might break down. We travel in pairs at the least. If one of breaks down, hopefully the other one can tow it in.RECOMMENDATION: EVERYONE should have a tow strap and tool kit at a minimum in their storage compartment. We'd also recommend a couple of spare heated helmet cord connectors and cables (12" RCA male to male and the RCA coiled long cord that has a male and female ends), spare spark plugs and a can of starter fluid. These straps are VERY generic and LONGGGGGG. You'll have to 'wing it' to install them as there are NO instructions on how to use the straps. There are 2 types included. You'll need SOME common sense. Just get a good look at the picture on Amazon to understand how they go together. We needed something. This was a first choice after looking as several others. One cannot be recommended over another as we haven't tried any other straps. There are plenty of alternatives for this. One could go to a big box retail store and just pick up any other kind of strap that will do the same thing. Had this one come with specific installation instructions, we might have rated it just a little higher. The 1" strap should be strong enough to tow with. Smaller sleds weigh about 500 lbs. Larger sleds maybe a little more. Some sleds might be lower HP. With that, be careful not to damage the tow sled. At the very least, you might damage your $125 clutch belt if you are not careful. But when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere, it helps to have something to work with. This one rolls up nicely and very small so that it does not take up too much room. As for price, $14 is a little high. We would expected to pay about $8-10 for something like this. There is not much to it.

Great product and good value. One of our sleds was stucked in a ditch and the only way to get it out is to tow it so we used this tow rope and were able to get our machine out no problem. Glad that we had those straps with us! Worked excellent and it was easy to use! Ordered 2 more. Thanks 👍
