The board worked great on the ocean. My only knock would be that the upperside is easily damaged. I would recommend buying a bag/case to put the board in.

I bought this a few of weeks ago and I use it 2-3 times a week and I love it. The board handles so much better than my Body Glove Brand and has better flotation than "department store" board. With this board I can make cuts up and down the wave and can spin with ease. I never thought that the kind of board would matter for me, but this board is better than any body board I have ever used.

Was hard to find a board that was sturdy enough for my husband who is 6foot 250lbs. This board does not bend-extremely sturdy. Very happy with our purchase. He now has something to use at beach that doesn't break within a few days.
