It serves is purpose. It fits cubed butter, seals decent, and cleans easily. The bottom may crack if trying to cut firm butter. Mine did but it still works.

I love this style of butter dish. This was delivered with a small label glued on the INSIDE of the tray. and it could not be removed. I first tried to soak it off with hot water and soap. then or alcohol. Then I tried nail polish remover, which only smeared and spread the glue. I had to toss it because for a cheap item like this one, it's not worth the drive to return it. Why use non-removable glue on an item that is made for food? I don't want glue remnants in my butter!

This butter dish looks good- not too big like so many others, has clean lines, fits well in fridge and on the table. Downside is that top rattles around and is not a click fit to the bottom butter tray. If you pick up the whole dish, the top is loosely fitted to the bottom and comes loose or off. The bottom is so flimsy that I cracked it while cutting a piece of cold butter. Looks fine. Performs sub-par. Not recommended.

I unfortunately had to return this item as it came damaged in shipment.I don't know whether the packaging (box much bigger than the contents), which was dented (not flat on one side) was the cause or otherwise, but the injection mold point (a small dot in the center of the bottom) was the start of the crack which went nearly to the outer edge.It's acrylic, which is susceptible to cracking under stress (the nature of acrylic plastic), but having it arrive like that was a bit off-putting. It's very inexpensive, so perhaps that should have been expected, but it would eventually lead to a full break (the crack extending to the edge) in the base.It otherwise is a typical US-style one-stick container with a lift-off lid, rather than a cup-equivalent which holds the butter. It won't win any art competitions, but it's an acceptable cover/container for a stick of butter to leave out on the counter so you don't have to wait for the butter to become room temperature and thus spread-able.Being acrylic, it likely would eventually fog due to tiny abrasions in use and even in hand-washing (presuming you might use a sponge with a plastic scrubber on the back). But if keeping it generally resembling a glass butter dish isn't important (it would not be to me; all I care about is protecting the butter when not being used), it would do the job at hand: Keep the butter from marking anything accidentally up against it, or from accumulating any form of contaminant.Downrated only because of its very lightweight construction and concomitant risk of damage (as seen on delivery).

It's $5ish dollars. It's plastic. I see lots of reviews about arriving broken.Mine did not. It's a thinner plastic but it's exactly what I was looking for. I was confused how it arrived because the way it's assembled makes you think the lid goes on one way but you can put it any way you want. Again it's a thin plastic so don't expect a seal at all. It's a cute easy to clean dish. I don't recommend putting in the dishwasher because sits a thin plastic. It does what I need it to do, hold butter. If you are looking for something more durable maybe spend a few extra dollars and get a ceramic dish.

C'est un beurrier idéal avec une forme qui fait que l'on enlève le couvercle sans qu'il nous glisse dans la main.Le seul Hic, c'est qu'il est en plastique, donc la durabilité est très restreinte. J'aurais préféré avoir le même beurrier mais en verre qui aurait duré plus longtemps.

Me duró menos de 2 meses, se rompió, el acrilico es muy endeble. Que el precio sea módico no significa que no deban ofrecer calidad.
