Q: Why are some lights not turning on or not lighting up in sequence?
A: Each light has an ID# and needs to be installed in sequence. Connect the lights in the direction of the arrows on the label, or the lights may not light up.
Q: Why is there a few seconds delay to turn on when sensor B is triggered?
A: The number of lights set exceeds the actual number of stair lights installed. Press the “Steps-" button on the remote to match the correct number of stair lights.

Light on the stairway went out and it is very high.I found this item and was hoping to install as a solution to allow an elderly person to safely go up/down the stairs, and THESE DID THE TRICK PERFECTLY!!!It was easy to install and had clear instructions.I wish it would have included a few more connecting cables (short ones) for the length of my stairway but i was able to use the longer ones and Hide the excess.Having the motion sensor at both ends is perfect, the lights come up (sequentially in my case, there are other settings) from either end and no need to worry to turn on/off.I used "double sided alien tape" to secure the cable in a straight line between lights and it looks very nice.You will need a power source close to either end of the stairs.My second set of stairs do not have a close outlet so i am not able to use maybe they will come up with a way to extend past the sensor to include a second flight of stairs...in any case i would recommend it.

I had other lights that would come on when you got near them one by one not really good. You’re already on the step before you can see what you’re doing. This is pretty cool and that once you tripped the sensor on either side, the top of the stairs or the bottom it will start lighting up in whatever way you have it set up where it will light up each their one at a time like one second after the other as you’re headed up or down or you can turn on all at once you can even have it turn on when nighttime comes and leave it on I did fine with them that you can only really mount them on the left side of the stairs, going up because of the way the light has a hood on it and shines its light across. Not really a big issue. One important thing is you have to follow the light numbers on the back you start with 12345 like that and continue forward do not get them mixed up or they will come on in the wrong order. I don’t think you have to use all the lights like let’s say you bought 16 and you only use 14 that’ll still work but you just don’t use number 15 and 16 as an example. I was able to use all 16 lights because you can kind a bunch of few up on a corner, but it comes in different sets. Everyone really likes them and for Thanksgiving when people came up with they were really impressed with how it lit up and looked highly professional, but super easy to install. All wires are preset size so make sure you work out. Where are you gonna put each thing first

The lights work great, just remember to pay attention to number sequencing on the lights as you connect them.

Confusing to install and took way to long and the motion sensor turns off so fast it gives u 30 seconds and then turns off. my hallway steps are so dark at night and there I have small landing and you won’t make it to the bottom in 30seconds

Very nice lights and you need to read first because the modules are labeled in order. They were lighting up in different areas before I realized there is an order.They turn on during the day so I'm concerned with the modules burning out. I hit the power button and it still turns on with movement.

I purchased this product to light up my extremely dark stair case and it works quite well. It was very easy to install. I did contact customer service because my stairs have a small landing and the wires included in the box are not quite long enough to go around the wall and line up the lights correctly at the bottom of the stairs. The customer service agent sent me out a cable extension free of charge and it works great. I'd definitely recommend this product.

The only thing I don't like is they don't come in black. they work amazing! I used cable track to hide the cable going to each light. The city made me install stringer lights on my mezzanine in my commercial shop.

Take the time to read the instructions so you know which side to put it on and how. Easy once you figure that out. Line it up and smooth sailing. I love them so far! Great quality, and I love how I don't need to turn on the lights early morning just to see. Love it!

I really like this stair light. So many programed functions buit in and I can control everything by remote. But there's a small issue. Once in a while the light stops turning on when sensor catches a motion. I have to disconnect/reconnect power cable to make it work again. Have to do that once a week.

These lights were a snap to install. We used them at our voltage as the stairs are in a corner with no lighting. They work great and no more falling on the stairs. Our dog is 13 and has trouble seeing steps. With these lights she goes to the wall and up the stairs with ease.

Bought them in July - at first they were fine then I had to unplug them / plug it back in or they wouldn’t turn on anymore. As of today they just stopped working. Would not recommend.
