We have used helmet intercoms for many years. Our Scala Rider set died and I did not want to spend over $400 for a double set again. The reviews on this motorcycle headset were pretty good. We ride a Ural sidecar rig so I can't speak about distance between each set since we ride side by side. We only use the intercom feature (that works great by the way) so I offer no report on the blue tooth connection of the radio or taking cellphone calls. These intercoms are easy to install and a cinch to pair. Our Scala Riders were such a pain to pair and re-pair so we could talk. These new intercoms have good sound quality and volume but there is still motorcycle and wind noise. This was true with our top of the line Scala Riders too. These are a good value and the instructions are easy to follow. Great system!

Good for the price. I can hear my music riding on the freeway. But taking a phone call isn’t that good, I can hear the other person talking but it is hard for them to hear me. But install was easy and the sticky tape works good hasn’t fallen off in the 110 degree weather.

I would really recommend buying this if you are looking for a cost friendly headsets and good qualityPros:I bought it the second time for my other helmet. The design is very good, outer side is made of rubber, so water won’t get in even in rain. Not very heavy either and the wires can mostly be hidden behind the padding. Sound quality is quite good too.Cons:The microphone is not friendly with half helmets, that could have been better. A boom mic type thing will be much better.Sound Quality:Quite loud and clear sound, there is a white noise when nothing is playing, but even while riding fast you can clearly listen to music or calls.I keep the volume at lowest or one or two up that does the work for me.Battery life:The battery runs for very long, if I ride everyday I have to charge it almost after a week. On standby it doesn’t loose almost any battery.

I recently bought a '22 Ryker Sport and have a passenger seat. I wanted to be able to communicate with my passenger and still be able to take calls and listen to music. It does just that.Installation was simple and only took a few minutes once I started removing the liner from my helmet to access the various contact points. The cords are long enough to route under the liner which made it easy to do a clean install. The unit mounts securely to the base plate which is held on with 3m tape.As for the transmitter. The Bluetooth paired easily with my phone the same way any other Bluetooth device would. The intercom mode is simple to sync as well.My likes are:. Callers hear me clearly even while I'm in motion. The fastest I've driven while taking a call was 55mph. I have a windshield so that most likely contributed to noise reduction. Again with my windshield as a factor, I am able to hear music on the interstate at 70mph. Toggling between intercom and bluetooth modes is a simple button press. Picking up a call is also one press. Volume controls are simple and skipping songs just requires a long hold which is good and bad especially if you are on two wheels. Taking your hand off the bars is always risky business. On a tryke it's a little less risky.Things I don't like are:. I haven't been able to activate my Google assistant to give my phone instructions while driving. You are committed to which ever mode you are in. If you are in Bluetooth you cannot hear the other person until you switch back to intercom. And the same goes for intercom mode - you won't hear music. I still have to test this but from what I've noticed; while in intercom mode you don't get a ring or notification of a call coming in. I only know calls are coming because my phone vibrates in my jacket pocket. The audio could be louder. I ride with earplugs and the sound makes it through perfectly fine but it could stand to be louder. The manufacturer should eher develop an app to customize it or offer a earplug mode which adjusts to offer a little more volume for riders using earplugs.Biggest problem I have had is one night after a ride one of the units completely froze in a powered on state. It was not functioning and none of the buttons would do anything. I decided to let it die and try charging it the next morning. Being impatient I returned to the unit 4 hours later and the buttons worked again so I was able to power it off. Haven't had any issues with it since.Overall I like that it does what it's supposed to do. I just wish it could offer a bit more volume. As a work around I have adjust the equalizer in my music app but it only affects music in that app and phone calls and the intercom are still a little low with earplugs in.For under $40 and being a new rider I'll take it.

Just bought my third device for my new helmet. I already have one installed on my full face and my wife’s full face. We’ve had them for about 3 months. The music is plenty loud at 100 mph, intercom works great phone calls come through clear. At anything above 85 mph the wind noise does interfere with the mic in my helmet. Doesn’t seem to affect my wife’s helmet. I will be installing this unit on a modular helmet so I will need to modify the mic with some sort of wire to make it compatible as this is designed for a full face. Shouldn’t be an issue as I’m handy

Me gustó, se escucha bien, no es difÃcil de manejar lo único que harÃa es ponerle unos cables un poco más grueso pero fuera de eso todo bien
