First I don't like a back on my bench so I just installed it upside down to store it. One photo shows the top of the seat to legs with the bench laid on its side. Lowest heigth is 17.5 inches seat to floor and then 23-1/2 inches seat to floor with legs fully extended. Spacing between leg holes is 1-1/4 inch. Spacing between the holes in the back support is 1-1/2 inches. If you set the legs at the lowest setting and try to store the back you will have a short piece of square post above the seat level. There is no tilt on the back support it is bolted tight to the post and comes up at a right angle to the seat. The seat is comfortable and fairly firm. It is not as wide as a standard piano bench. The bench is 12-1/2 inches by 18 inches x 3 inches thick but you lose 1 inch of seat thickness due to the screws that go up into it. There is a platform built in the seat so you never feel those screws. This is more solid than I thought it would be. It is very portable as you can move the legs all the way up and take off the back and it is a small footprint. The only thing I don't like is The knobs that hold the leg and seat height have to be screwed completely out to change height settings. I would of loved pins or spring loaded knobs that pop into place when you move the leg extension. I had a little trouble getting one to screw in but once it went in it was ok. I think maybe some paint or a burr was on that leading thread. Once you tighten up the leg screws this is solid. Last unlike a traditional piano bench there are two legs with a TEE bar across the bottom. If you are not on a level surface you may have to shim the edge of the leg a bit to make it solid. They do have rubber covers on the ends of the bar to help compensate for slightly off flat surfaces. So far it has not been a problem for me but I carry thin linoleum strips if it moves too much.

Overall a very nice well-made adjustable piano bench with back support. Installation was straightforward and simple. Took about 15 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The bench adjusts up and down for different size people. The back support is super helpful and makes it comfortable. This is great for piano but also great for a flight simulator. Gaming chairs move all over the place. This stays put while you push on the pedals so you can fly correctly. My sons love it! I expect the seat to last for many years due to its construction and design. Highly recommended piano bench. I could also see this being used in a workshop with the back support. For piano and so much more!!!!

Let's talk about the pros of this adjustable piano bench...for starters the padding is great. It is very comfortable to sit on and the back rest provides a much needed support especially if my husband is spending a lot of time playing his music. I love that the back can be adjusted not just in height but also depth which is great to really get that personal comfort. I also love that you can adjust the leg height as well. My husband is pretty tall and so I love that he has the option to adjust it to fit him just right. Now, I only have one con and that is that it arrived with NO instructions. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to put it together but I pulled up the product image and was able to figure it out. It's not a big deal because the piano bench was fairly easy to assemble but not having ANY instructions included was frustrating. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who sits behind a piano. This is by far the best piano bench we have used and comes with a very high recommendation.

There's a lot to like about this piano stool, and a few things to dislike. The padding on the cushion is very thick and comfortable. I've never had a piano stool with a back, but the back is actually really nice. It's more like a lumbar support but it increases the comfort of the bench quite a bit. The frame seems sturdy and stable, and it's easy to adjust. Now for the bad: It seems a little overpriced at $100. There appeared to be some corrosion on the steel frame under the seat that was just painted over. It was missing a screw for the backrest. I'm 5'10 and the lowest setting seems just barely low enough for me to be comfortable. If the price comes down a bit I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this, but as it is, beware of the caveats before you buy it.

This is the piano bench I needed. It’s much better than the basic one I grew up with. It’s adjustable, feels good to sit on, easy to move around, everything is good about it.

The bench is stuffy and comfortable. It is also lightweight and easy to assemble.I wish the height adjustment was a little quicker. If fully secured by tightening the knobs on the adjustment pins, your first must loosen those knobs, then pull back the spring loaded pins to slide the telescoping leg up or down, release the pin into one of the height adjustment holes, then tighten the knob to secure it in place. Then the prices must be repeated to match the height for the other leg. It's not extremely difficult, but is just order a simpler process.
