I just received it, and have not put into service yet.It appears to be well made, and the heat dissipate fins are very sturdy!

I really want to like this thing, but it simply does not work. Almost every morning as it is trying to get started with weak sunlight, the CPU crashes causing blank display, frozen display, etc. and no charging. It must be reset by disconnecting the array and the battery to reboot it. Then, if that's any consolation, it will charge perfectly all day but you'd better be around the next morning to do it all over again. This is a replacement for the first one I owned which did exactly the same thing so I returned it under warranty. I think this is a design fault or software bug. Save yourself the headache and buy a major brand for not much more money.

Super easy to use, draws very little amperage overnight while idle if any. Very happy with the LNEX and would recommend.

HEAVY DUTY 30A Controller. I really like this thing. It is chunky, well built and works great. I hooked it up to one of my solar panel sets and tested it out. Like with most controllers, be sure to check polarity of your cords/battery extensions, etc. when hooking up. It literally took me minutes to set up.I hooked the battery up and then connected the solar panel and all systems were up and running. The controller does a boot up system test and then started charging the battery. I tried it on a small 7 AH LIFEPO4 and then hooked it up to my 100 AH LIFEPO4 battery and it is a smooth operator. The controller works on both 12V / 24V and has an auto mode and manual mode for both the solar panel and the battery you are hooking to it. I manually set the battery to LIFEPO4 by pressing the setting switch for 3 seconds while I had battery indicator selected. You just select the battery voltage and type and exit the menu. Piece of cake. This is one of many controllers I own. Some of the controllers are in go-boxes for remote power and a couple other higher-end chargers are more permanent mounts. This one will be a permanent setup at my remote office. I am pairing it with a 100 watt panel and will use it to keep a 100AH battery charged for emergency power. I keep ham radios, a computer/monitor, USB lights and a few other essentials hooked up at the remote for emergencies. This controller will work great for that.Price is reasonable for the quality of the controller. I would recommend this!

Got this as a backup to an existing 250 watt (panel) system with a 2000w inverter. Did a quick install to ensure it worked, booted up perfectly finding the panel input and battery immediately. Ran it for two days, worked perfectly. So far, so good. I’m considering this a very good value, especially for all for the processes it does automatically (find the battery and all functioning parameters).
