Good value for money, yet not cheaply made.

Great little set. Everything works perfect. My only complaint is that it takes a bit to get everything into the case. And the case easily pops open where everything spills out

Great set for a class, or just occasional work. If you're trying to use this daily, it's not going to hold up long. Still, it's got everything you really need to get 90-95% of what you need done in a nice little case that fits in one side of my pencil book thing. As an affordable option, definitely recommend!

This is a good student compass. It has everything you need to get going drawing circles. The replaceable pencil gives you lots of options since you don't need to use a specialty lead.I am hard on my compasses and I normally use one with a spin wheel to keep the measured distance constant. This compass is just a pull-apart compass but the distance stayed constant during the circle drawing and I didn't lose precision, so it works fine.Although I like the idea of a little flip-up plastic cover over the compass point, the plastic cover itself has a sharp bit sticking out, so your finger will get stabbed anyway.

It’s ok for a small kit. The compass does not have a measurement for the circle.

Since one of the pictures shows the case size in imperial (7" x 5.7"), I thought this stationary was in the imperial system. However, all of the rulers/measures in this case are indeed metric.I still can use them and they are fine products. But not suitable for everyone especially for the US school system. The casing is clear plastic which gets scratched or breaks very easily. Since this case is meant for longer use, I would put the lower rate. Meantime, $4 of cost, cannot be beaten, so I kept 4 stars.

You can’t fix the position on the pencil compass…. To the extent that you can’t do a circle
