Used this in my embroidery to make exact sized circles. Works with pencil and water soluble ink marker. Easy to use and price is very good. Very happy wiyh my purchase

I can't believe anyone could find this cheap plastic thing acceptable. Cheap, yes, but not even worth the $2.99 we paid for it. Locking mechanism is useless as it tightens but doesn't lock. Rounded plastic tip won't hold the thing stationary it just slides across the paper as the legs widen and your circle becomes an ever increasing spiral. I refer to this thing as a "thing" because I really don't know what it is. I do know it isn't an even slightly useful drawing compass. It will be returned.

Fiskars Compass , for me is a sturdy compass, locks good, no sharp point for drawing on paper. You cant beat it.

I bought this to make circles for an art project. The point does not stay in place while you are making the circle. I think I'll have to purchase and "adult" metal compass.

I needed a compass to draw a couple round templets. Ordering this was quicker than trying to find my own compass. This is definitely just a kids compass. It took a couple tries to get a good circle, but after several attemps it worked.

My kids did not really love them as the safety plastic point made it difficult to stay in place. Not our favorite.
