Handy for sports coaching, gives players an idea of creating a basketball 3pt radius of a player or opponent and teaching hockey players like a goalie the concepts of blocking screening shots at precise levels.Quality is plenty to say its durable to last multiple sports seasons in the coaching realm.

I used the compass today to template a wooden heart! It worked great! Thanks!

Lead in the compass was broken upon arrival and the protractor. Thankfully there was more lead in a little case but it was sad to have one wasted. Thankfully I had another protractor but they should really package it better.

Although I've never heard of Kabuda, that is the name on the side of the compass in the picture. They're so NOT proud of the name, that they didn't put it on the actual product. But that's not my issue with this item. It's like a cheap umbrella. They used the least amount of material to accomplish the product's intended purpose. The tightening nuts don't press an arm against the pin or lead. They clamp down flaps which are extended from the actual arms of the compass. That requires a good quality metal to have that "spring steel" character. For the price, it is darn near disposable, and that's about the quality of this item. I wasn't expecting more than that, and I wasn't surprised.

I needed to create a template for the universal charcoal replacement filters so I could cut them to size, and a compass was the easiest way to draw the template.

Only issue with this compass is the lead moves when you try to draw and if you go to tight the lead will crack.
