What I like is that it's thick and square. Lol, come on guys! It's not flimsy at all and I wanted something that I could run a pen knife against, you still with me? I wasn't expecting this to be the answer, I was just looking for a good enough square ruler that could help me make small patterns. What I got was a go-to measuring tool that measures and keeps my xacto straight. Inexpensive, easy, and just the right size. Mission accomplished 💯

This exceeded my expectations and is just perfect. Many t-squares cannot lie flat on paper because they're made for matting/framing or other purposes. I had to look a long time to find one with the t-bar flush to the body. If you need a t-square for drawing, this is your guy. The numbers are large and very readable. Solid metal, heavier than expected, and simply excellent quality. I could not be happier with this item. Highly recommended.

DO THIS FIX TO MAKE THIS SQUARE WAY BETTER!The T-square is very well made and the lines are very accurate. It is made of steel so it is magnetic and strong enough to hold up to cutting. Just two issues with this square,First is that the black on the square is very thick and makes the edges rounded and not feel very good. If you take a sharp razor knife of some kind, prop it up at 90 degrees flat with the edges of the square you can scrape off the black paint. This will reveal the nice and straight steel edges that are now more accurate and can be cut against with a blade.Second is that there is no raised portion along the top to catch onto a frame or other edge so that it can be held straight. This may only be an issue for me and is not the fault of the design of the square, just with how I want to use it. To fix this I got a very square piece of 1/8†acrylic and glued it flat along the bottom of the t section with a couple of 1-2-3 blocks to keep it square so that I can now place the square on an edge and make right angled marks. Since the acrylic is clear I can also flip it to use the metric side and lay the square on flat surfaces.These fixes do take a little work but make this an awesome little square!

It's good for my purposes. The markings are not really zeroed very well, so do not expect to get a laser-precise distance if you are measuring with them. I also found that the surface is somewhat slippery and because it doesn't have any lip, you can't make it catch on the edge of the paper if that is what you're using it for. However, these issues can be circumvented with a little patience. All in all, I recommend this product as a solidly made and usable T-square. It's heavy, solid, and I can't imagine how it would ever go out of alignment (unlike the two-piece models).

Maybe the product was different when some of the cranky folks wrote their reviews, I doubt it because it seems they would find a reason to complain in Heaven, but the product I received has a good, solid weight to it, keeping it from being pushed around by the gentlest movement. It is so simple to use, especially when using any kind of graph paper or self healing mat.As for the construction, we’ve used digitally projected lasers to test everything from balance of the metal to the affect of imperfections on measurements and this Mr. Pen out performs instruments more than five times its price.As a bonus, it just looks cool with the white lettering on black background. It is also much easier to use than a traditional “t-square†as the extra arm provides a means of double checking angles and straight lines.Seriously, I love this thing so much and find it so useful, I’d happily invest in as much “Mr. Pen†stock as I could find. No one else has a similar product which strikes me as crazy.

This ruler is sturdy. it is however totally flat, so therefore it has tendency to slide. I was hoping that the T part had a lip on it so that I could control a cutting. This one doesn't, so it is useless for my needs. All myother T squares have a lip but they are all too large for what I am doing now. I kept the ruler because itwas too much of a hassle return, at this price.

It's mor than a hobby - I make architectural models which require precise layout for cutting foam core. This fills the bill nicely. The markings are clear and sharp.I do make one simple and reversable modification - it does NOT have a lip on the underside of the cross-bar. This is used when I need multiple parallel lines at 90 degrees to a known to be good factory edge. When I need it I just tack-clue (rubber cement) a strip of foam core, it is easily removable when I am one.

I love this square because it’s small enough to fit on my pouch hook and it’s great for tight layout of door jambs and window jambs.Recommend for all trades men doing floor layouts.

Description says 1mm increments. It's 2mm increments which is unusual & hard to adjust to when trying to work fast. If you want advice on making a better ruler do this => Count in Centimeters W/1millimeter increments for the etchings.

Es un regla que superó la calidad que esperaba, es metálica y de una sola pieza por lo qur supongo que será extremadamente durable, incluso es pesada y tiene la medición en centÃmetros y en pulgadas. Definitivamente es un producto que si recomendaria para un adulto pues incluso es tan fuerte que puede resultar pesada para un niño.

Bought this product because I seen another coworker with something very similar. That was just a little bit bigger than this one but overall I’m extremely happy it fits in my toolbox great and it’s great for metal fab layout.
