(UPDATE, It's barely sticky enough for heat gun repair, it does give off a very unpleasant smell/fumes,..it still works just wish it had a little more Adhesive I'm afraid it's gonna blow off. It Barely hold when you're using a hot air gun to de sodder....)..It Burns but it won't melt even with a lighter underneath it so I think it's gonna help Make sure I don't knock off or melt other components off the board when soldering with the heat gun. At first I thought I was scammed... But I held a letter under it for about 40 seconds and won't melt It holds up to its claim. I honestly don't have any doubt It won't hold its purpose. If I have any issues soldering with a heat gun I will update. All I need it to do is deflect the heat and hold the other parts in place if they happen to get too hot. There's no reason that this shouldn't work. I'm extremely impressed.

Works great, good price but too narrow for my use. I didn't realize before ordering since pic makes it look wide. I also don't use metrics so my fault for not measuring before buying. This size is hard to work with. Will know for next time.

This is the only tape I use now for sublimation. I've tried others and do not like them. This is very "stretchy" so you can pull it tight. Very durable.

If you're buying kapton tape you probably know what its for so I will skip that gibber gabber. Instead I will say, unlike many other cheap brands on Amazon that sell Kapton tape this stuff is quality. The tape is clean, well made, stronger then many other brands I've tried and above all it had absolutely no contaminants on it. No dust, No dirt, No Grease and No Grime. Why is that so special?Well the last three other brands I tried I kid you not had everything from eyelashes from manufacturing stuck to the tape, to dust, rocks, metal shavings that were not only electrically conductive and would have fried my electronics they were also sharp. This stuff had none of that crap.TLDR; Good, Thin Strips of Kapton!

This tape is perfect and can use a few times on fabric, before having to throw out. Definitely would buy again!
