Bought this for a really old Southbend lathe. Works well for the price. Only complaint is; I wish the Morse taper was a little longer so it would eject from the tailstock when I retract the quill all the way. To remove it, I have to grab live center with the work holding chuck, lock the tail stock, and then retract the tailstock feed to pop it out of the Morse taper. Kind of a pain in the.... Probably not good for it, but at this price, not a big deal.

On green wood tip sinks into the wood easily up to the flange. On dry wood no problem

Several thousands of runout with no load. Noticeable slop in bearings when pushing stop with finger. Do not was your money
