This live center appears to be very well constructed and accurately machined. I have only used it once so far, but it performed great. The bearings are very smooth operating and make no noise at all. When I checked the runout there was almost no movement at all on my dial indicator so it is running true. I could not see anywhere on the center itself or box of where it was manufactured, but I believe it must be China. The small 4 page manual that came with it was written in broken english with statements like “for maintenance turn down the screw to greaseâ€, and there is no screw to turn down. Overall I think this is a good quality live center.

No Complaints! Lubed it up, inserted and what a huge difference from a normal dead center. I should have bought one of these before! Worth every penny!

I've used this LLDSIMEX live center on several jobs and I've been very pleased with the performance. The bearings are smooth and the taper is well machined. I'm using it on a Clausing Model 100 Mk3 and it is excellent for steadying long hollow pieces in my lathe. I didn't think to take a pic till the end but the stubby piece pictured was about 12" long when I started and needed heavy cuts to make the carbide insert happy. Wouldn't have been able to do it without a live center and the LLDSIMEX live center had no problems with the job. Great addition to my lathe tool box!

A hardened and very well machined live lathe center. Bearings are extremely smooth. Practically zero runout at the point of the center. I have machined several parts using this center and they were concentric with no runout or taper in the parts after machining. This is a great buy on a precision made live center. Well done. I did have to make a plastic cover to go over the end because it is so finely machined I need to make sure nothing tries to damage the point.

Yup things are as described aka this is a medium duty mt2 live center. It is pretty stable and fits my atlas 12 rather well.It seems to be good and solid but time will tell

This replaces a Jet-branded live center that I unfortunately had damaged in removal after a particularly bad tailstock sticking incident. Metal finish is excellent and the bearings run smoothly. No taper slippage. This is a decent quality live center at a good price.
