I ordered this as I wanted something nice to store my garlic. This is really cute with a wood top that says Garlic. It is fairly light-weight ceramic. I just got it, so I don't know yet if it will keep my garlic fresher longer than storing it on the counter top.

I wanted a white garlic keeper and while it is cute and fits in with my existing decor, there is no silicone suction to keep the cutting board/lid on top of the ceramic bowl. It is so uneven it slides off when we run our washing machine. Plus the lid (which doubles as a cutting board) is so small it is practically worthless to cut on.
