Power indicator lights failed on my Bunn coffee maker. These switches are a perfect replacement, easy to install, and fit right.

I used one of these switches on a small home-built vacuum pump, and it works great. Not the beefiest switch around, but it does the job. And I like the integral pilot light which tells you the switch is on (not important in my application, but could be in others.

This product worked exactly as advertised. I've only used it for about 50 on-off cycles, so I can't comment on long-term reliability. I wired it for 120VAC, USA residential current. The LED works just fine. From this I would conclude there must be some resistance component inside on the light circuit. It was a little difficult getting the switch to seat in my project box. This was easily solved with two-sided tape.Regarding the pin identification, the diagram supplied in the Amazon post is correct, but I'd have to admit it's not crystal clear. Other reviewers have also provided pin outs, all of which seem correct. The following wire colors are for USA 120VAC residential current, colors will vary in outher countries.Pin 1: connect to the hot wire coming from the wall socket (black in the USA) Caution: this is easy to do if you are using a three-prong plug. In the case of a two-prong plug make sure it only goes in one way.Pin 2: goes to the hot side of your device. Pushing the switch connects pins 1 and 2.Pin 3: If you want the LED to work, connect pin 3 to the neutral wire from the wall socket (white in the USA). Note: the neutral side of your device should also be connected to the white wire.I did not intentionally wire this incorrectly (by reversing the hot and neutral wires). I suspect your device would still switch on, but I'm not sure the LED would work.

These switches are a perfect fit for my Mr Coffee SK13 coffee maker. Just remove the 7 screws from the bottom plate and remove it, pop the old broken switch out the front, pull the 3 wires off making note of which wire came from which post because they go back exactly as removed, plug the wires back on the 3 posts on the new switch and push the new switch back in paying attention to the small flange that goes in the notch on top. That's it. A 10 minute job if you are slow. A small JIS screwdriver helps but a phillips will do. The red on light is much brighter than the original green dot light. Since they came in a 5 pack, I expect the coffee maker to die before I run out of replacement switches.

I almost tossed out my vacuum but fortunately all I needed was a new switch and this fixed it!

Well the button on the coffee maker broke, use this switch to fix replace the broken one and we can now make coffee again. Pro tip, take a picture of the wiring of the switch you are replacing before you dissemble it so you don't have to try and remember the wire up a few days later when your switches arrive because you got ahead of yourself when you took it all apart initially.

Exactly as described and worked perfectly!!! Had a switch on a oil heater that didn't work and replaced with one of these. The heater now works perfectly and the wiring diagram was helpful as well!!
