My toddler has had trouble dealing with emotions. After talking to a professional, she suggested this book. I had never heard of it but she recommended it to help my little guy identify his emotions so that he could learn to explain them rather than acting out. This has made a world of difference. 1st, the book is easy to read/follow. 2nd it really helps identify emotions. If you have a toddler who is struggling, give it a shot. At the very least its another great Dr Suess book.

My daughter is 5 and she has trouble expressing her emotions. This book is a wonder because it helps put emotions and moods into simple color terms the kids can grasp, helping them process and move on. it's a fast read for Seuss, and so deep and meaningful, I wish there were adult versions and a self help series built around this concept for the parents!

This book had wonderfully bright pictures and was a good way to teach children about colors. The children enjoyed it.

This was perhaps my son & my FAVorite Dr Seuss book when he was little! I was so completely overjoyed to have found a way to replace it Stateside for my grandchildren!The poem - all about Moods and Emotions - is one that Theodore Geisel (Seuss) never illustrated during his lifetime, so his wife made sure it was done beautifully .This book provides a kind of second language of Feelings that many children will find reassuring, and younger children will find easier to grasp. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Simple Seuss Poem, Beautifully Re-Imagined!

A great book . Bought for my gradaughter who’s 6 and had some medical treatment that was very difficult for her and I wanted a book about our feelings . The rhyming words she can read herself and her 3 year old sister can appreciate it to .Very good for asking “ how are you feeling today ? ‘ ‘ what colour are you today ?’ Lovely pictures that describe different emotions very well , with some fun ones too .They both love it
