The vise is good. Bought this as an alternative for the twist tech wire bending tool mount ($150), for DIY spinning lure. Vise is not the best but does the job perfectly. The pictures explain everything. If you know, you know. Tight lines, manage wife in time!

This vice may suffice for light-duty tasks; however, it is imperative to note its diminutive size, with a maximum opening of merely 3cm/1.2in. Despite being labeled as "small," it has adeptly managed every task I've assigned to it. Upon immediately integrating it into my ongoing projects, I was pleasantly surprised by its robustness and weightiness, exceeding my expectations for an item of its size. Regrettably, it arrived without the additional "accessories" as mentioned by some users. Nevertheless, it has proven invaluable for securing small and awkward objects during delicate procedures such as drilling. It has demonstrated unwavering stability and efficacy, effortlessly accommodating various tasks—from measurements to adjustments—without faltering. Though my time with it has been brief, its utility has been frequently evident. In conclusion, this vice epitomizes the adage "small but mighty," and I wholeheartedly endorse it for its remarkable versatility. However, it is worth noting that the screw mechanism responsible for opening and closing the vice exhibits some irregularities, manifesting as noticeable notches during operation. Additionally, while the inclusion of rubber vice pads is appreciated, their inadequate fit and propensity to dislodge from the jaws are noteworthy drawbacks.

This is a small vice for all your small or delicate work. It fits snugly to your bench or countertop so that you can work on your projects wherever you have the space. It seems to be strong and sturdy. It is a nice color. It does hold your work securely and comes with pads for the jaws and the hold down. It has a spring in the crank, I am not sure why. It is a cheaper version of a great vice. It has a jaw opening of 1.2 inches and a little over 2-inch-wide width. Overall a nice little vice for the money.

Its fifteen bucks. I get it.it is nice. clamps come with rubber pad to protect underside of table.and rubber clamps for anything you want to protecting in the jaws themselves. My gripe with it was that it opens away from you. with vices, i feel its better for it to open towards you because its crucial how the pressure you're applying affects the function of the vice. when it closes away from you while clamping it down, you are pressing against and it. at least that's been my experience with full size bench-top vices.

In the not too distant past I purchased my first house. With any house there's always projects, little things that you think need to be adjusted or worked on and my house is no exception. Unfortunately I've found that I'm woefully unprepared for many of these projects in terms of tools. And a bench vise is one of those tools that I lack and frequently found needed.Don't be put off by it's description of "small", as it has handled every item I've tasked it. I have several projects, of course, that are ongoing and I immediately put this to good use. That needs to be held while I measure and cut? No problem! This needs to be clamped while I adjust it a bit? No problem! There's more, but I'm sure you get the point. While I admittedly have only had this a short time it has come in handy frequently already. So in summary, this is definitely the little vise that could. Small, but mighty, and I highly recommend it because of that.A+++++I LOVE the inclusion of the "no mar" coverings for the jaws as there's frequently things that need to be held tightly, but also need to not be marked by it. And these coverings work awesomely well.

Probably ok for some light duty work. Just be aware that this vice is tiny, the maximum opening is only 3cm/1.2in. The screw used to open and close the vice has some flat spots on it which makes it's operation very notchy. It comes with rubber vice pads, but they don't fit well and and have a tendency to fall off the jaws.
