The EVDANCE NACS to J1772 works perfectly with Tesla destination chargers. I bought the black EVDANCE unit because it matches the color of the vast majority of Tesla charging stations with the NACS chargers. Also, I've attached a couple of images with the EVDANCE unit connected to the Tesla charging hose, and the EVDANCE adaptor is almost completely imperceptible. I've experienced no issues whatsoever with connecting it and disconnecting it on either the 'Tesla' end, or the 'J1772' end. It is sized very comfortably and manufactured to extraordinarly high quality standards. It's comfortable in the hand, it feels solid. It comes shipped with a beautiful nylon storage bag. The EVDANCE adaptor easily fits in the glove box, a side pocket, or anywhere else within the vehicle. This item is very competitively priced and deserves your serious consideration. How much do I like this item? I like it so much that I'm going to order another EVDANCE adaptor for our other electric vehicle--that is, unless the manufacturer would like to provide one! ðŸ˜ðŸ‘

The adapter worked perfectly for over a year and for whatever reason stopped working properly. Customer service helped me diagnose the problem and realized a new unit needed to be shipped out. They accommodated this request despite the fact the unit was 13 months old.

The product works as described by the manufacturer. I’ve had no issues using the charging adapter to connect from the Tesla charger to my EV with a J1772. Go Electric!

This was a good value for the money spent. The adapter comes what a nice sachet to store. It’s well built and worked perfectly. I would give it 5 stars had it been UL listed and safety assured per the US standards. I didn’t see it was UL listed or certified so one always has some doubts about safety of the product. If you don’t care about that, then consider it 5-star product.

I have tried this adapter with multiple Destination chargers and it doesn’t work. I haven’t been able to get it working even once. Unfortunately, the return period lapsed before I could test it so I’m stuck with a paperweight. Buyer beware.

it probably works fine. appears to be well made. Unfortunately, while the connectors fit properly, it is not charging compatible with Lexus. This info is not included in the product description. I was not able to try it on a Tesla charger until after the 30 day return window. While I'm screwed, hopefully this review will help someone else avoid making the same mistake.

As soon as this adapter arrived, I ran out to the garage where our charge station is installed to make sured it fit. It did. Let's face it... range anxiety is real. My EV is a 2023 Nissan Leaf. Maximum charge is about 160 when the car was new. Over time, the battery has less capacity to hold a charge, plus it takes longer to charge in cold weather. So during the winter months, we're talking only about 145 miles on a full charge, now, and it takes longer and longer to recharge. If you turn on the heat or A.C. you get about 20 miles less while its running. Charging station locations must be plotted out for longer trips, and many times, your only options are Tesla destination chargers.I only needed to use this adapter one time, so far. But once is enough to be able to tell you how grateful I was to have had it. So, if you have J1772 connector for your EV, this is a well-constructed, dependable adapter to get you home from a long road trip when you're EV is running low on juice. Recommended.
