This worked perfectly for attaching a 50 cal can to the bumper of my rv. Can't ask for much more. It's been a little bit of time and not showing any corrosion and very sturdy.

built a Murphy Bed and the fold out part is super heavy (3/4" ply, 1x2 supports, 1/4" ply liner plus the Certa mattress with pillow top). Decided to use two swivel plates instead of buying one of those super overpriced Murphy Bed Hardware Kits so I had no piston assist to lift the platform into the store position. Found a hoist on Amazon for $60 and needed a way to attach the hook to the platform. This U-bolt worked well, very strong, lifts about 100 lbs every evening and is long enough to make hook attachment easy peazy.

I use these to mount things to my dock. That way I don’t have to drill holes in the posts and I can change the location any time.

Prospective buyers please note that product description is misleading. The square u bolt comes complete with plate and nuts. There is no need to order the plate separately as mentioned in description.
