If you use the Nature2 mineral system, GET THESE. I have had trouble in the past keeping the MPS levels right in my spa, usually supplementing (too frequently as I have learned) with chlorine. Since I have started using these strips, I have found that the Nature2 system works as advertised. No chlorine or bromine chemical smell, and no guessing how much MPS I need to add. I am able to regulate the pH in my spa more easily as well, since using less chlorine doesn't cause the pH to change as rapidly. A side benefit is the more precise application of chemicals has reduced my usage, saving me money.

Cheaper than buying these test strips at the spa store. They work great, and they're easy to read. The colors seem to match up on the color scale quite well, and the instructions are easy to understand. As long as you keep wet fingers out of the vial and keep the lid tightly sealed, they'll last a while. It covers all the basics you need for testing your spa water.

I have tested Alkazone Ph Test Strips for Water, Micro Essential Lab 9800 pHydrion pH Range: 0.0 To 14.0, 100 pH (Strips/Vial, Plastic pH Test Strips), and Nature2's Spa Test Strips. While the Alkazone strips are an improvement over the Micro Essential Lab 9800 pHydrion (pHydrion) strips (which don't work at all), the colors are not as vivid as they appear on the comparison sample on the container. In addition, a solution I knew to be a pH of 9 tested as a 7 using the Alkazone strips. In fact, plain Fiji bottled water tested at a 7 and the pH reading on the Alkazone strips appeared unchanged even after adding alkalizing drops and/or baking soda both of which should have brought the pH above 9.With the pHydrion strips, plain Fiji bottled water tested between a 3-4 pH while the Fiji bottle claims it is a 7.8 pH. Also, the color of the pHydrion strips does not change consistently throughout the strip. In fact, anything under a pH of 8 will only change the edges of the litmus paper such that the edges will be green while the center remains peach/orange/yellow.The Nature2's Spa Test Strips appear to work the best for testing water. They appear to be relatively accurate; unfortunately, these strips don't test pH above an 8.

Nature2 is a low chlorine system that basically operates the opposite of a chlorinated spa. In a chlorinated spa, chlorine is maintained and added after every use, with a once weekly MPS shock. In a Nature2 spa, MPS level is maintained in the spa and added after every use, with a once weekly chlorine shock. You'll find most test strips measure chlorine, but not MPS. These Nature2 strips measure MPS and PH levels. While they are a little expensive, you'll soon learn how much chemical to add after each use, and probably only need to test weekly. While I've yet to have a problem with anyone using our spa, some people are sensitive to MPS and can break out in a rash. A Nature2 system is a little more expensive to maintain, but I find it easier than chlorine, and there's very little odor (MPS may have its own slight odor).

Super easy and keeps you informed about what your water is doing. I have order them 2 times now. I will keep buying them. They are super easy to read and easy to use. Simply put in the water for a few seconds. Done!

Work great with my Nature2 System. Important to use these and not other test strips, because these are the most important readings for the Nature2 low chlorine system, when you're using MPS Shock.I use this regularly, and it has been very helpful in maintaining my hottub, using the Nature2 system, which we converted from Bacqua Spa to. Couldn't be happier. If you're thinking of getting rid of BacquaSpa, but don't want to use a lot of chlorine, or bromine, the Nature2 system is what you want.A little expensive at $10 for 50, but i don't use them every day. One of these should last me all winter.

I like the product, but the diagnostic color boxes were covered by the seller bar code label. I peeled off the label but could not get it off fully and could not get s reading for pH which is most important. Will return and give it one more chance.

I have recently switched my spa over to Nature2 spa sanitizer and you use Potassium Peroxymonosulfate 'MPS' as an oxidizer. These strips are the only ones I've found that measure the MPS level, the Chlorine or Bromine test strips won't.Only thing I found if you do add chlorine which I do if the tub is left unattended for a period of time the strips will give you a false reading until the chlorine level drops off.Chlorine or Bromine strips will show nothing if there is MPS in the water but no Chlorine or Bromine. However the MPS strips show a reading from the chlorine when there is no MPS in the water. These strips are a must if you are using a mineral sanitizer and MPS as an oxidizer.
